- Sony a6700 extreme lowlight video test with Sigma 16mm f1.4 and Sigma 56mm f1.4 Shoot on S-Cinetone profile. So this is almost what comes stright from camera I just did a few color tweeks and added a little noise reduction with Da Vinci Reolve Studio 18.

What iso were you using ? Was it in auto or did you set it for each scene? Amazing video, loved it so much! Made me order the 6700 :)
Appreciate for watching 🙂 Well ISO is different on every scene. Lens wide open 1.4 and shoot on 24 fps, expose for the highlights and all good, but I always try to shoot on native isos, if you can’t don’t be afraid to crack it up or look for better light conditions/ scene.🙂 Glad you have ordered it is a fantastic camera 👌

Hallo EH.Can you tell us what codecs do you use in this cool video? The Picture Profile presets: Gamma HLG2 (or 3) with Color MOde BT.2020 or S-Cinetone with S-Gamut3.Cine or else? And if this video was eanhanced with any LUTs or other else laike this. Thank you in advance! Regards!
Hello mate. I use PP11 profile so that is S-cinetone, 4.2.2 10 bit , file format 4k XAVC HS (H. 265). I color graded, did a few tweaks and some shots I had to denoise with Da Vinci Resolve, I mean in the city full of lights you can easily use crop sensor cam as a6700 with fast lens like Sigma 16mm f1.4.
With the original lens kit i guess a 55m at 3.5 apt how good is that lens for low light ?
Ofc am coming from a 1" sensor camera at 2.8 apt 😂
Will i see big improvement ?
I had Sony ZVE10 with a kit lens and it was still possible to shoot low light, just maybe not so extreme if you know what I mean 😅

I mean crop sensor is with fast lens like f1.4 and lower is good enough for me at least 🙂 Just have to watch out with shooting in slog3 but s cinetone is pretty good at night

I was referring to the kit lens at 3.5, am not welling (not now at least) to pay a premium on a 1.4 lens

Any noise reduction in post??
A few shots I did a little noise reduction but I can say that s cinetone does pretty good job in low light conditions

Do you know the approximate ISO of the footages?
ISO in some of the shots is up to 6400.
