I can't even say they are monster rookies because they don't act like rookies in ANY way. They are monster professionals and they've worked SO hard to get here. I LOVE them.
The “new dance” is basically just a saying for the girls being themselves and having fun. Maya explained it for the Apple interview
I thought they was just saying what they did. Like they learned a new dance on TikTok or something. I think it might be the company trying to use the groups popularity as a forum to practice creating trends in tiktok like with the heart dance in the music video :)

Anything you see in these Dance Practices they do Live with the exact same amount of Synchronization from what I have seen.
It was only recently when I learned the choreo for GIRL GVNG has ASL included in it, as requested by the mom of a fan
its crazy how they are ALL really good dancers, you dont see any of them lacking or making any mistakes, they are all sooo good
I think it's funny how they throw people off with the title of New Dance. Looking at the mv, and then the choreo, they're doing some old school dance moves. But it's a new dance to them, because their concept is that they're aliens. I think that part during the chorus that he really liked is based on the Camel Walk, which was done by Sammy Davis Jr in the 60's. And pop lockin and droppin it throws me back to my middle school days lol.
XG is killing the game and I hope they will come to USA again because I missed them at KCON and HITC. I watched all the music shows performance and they are so good. Also, check out the live videos of their performances at KCON and HITC

I just love the thought that XG is an international girl group, not a kpop group coz they're soaring high with their talents and music. If they're in kpop? Who knows if we would see their talents
The only K-POP thing about them is that they are based in Korea, all the girls are Japanese.

I feel you RJ, Shooting Star is still my number 1 song! Hahahahahhah. But not gonna lie, the rest of their songs are also good though.
New Dance and TGIF are two of the very few songs that MAKE my body move. 100% involuntary.
They are just showing off in these videos, they have so much time and always on point
xg’s kcon la’s performance was WILDDDDD they intro’d with a cover of 2ne1 “i am the best” (my oldest sister is a 2ne1 Blackjack, and she said they did it justice which is rare for 2ne1 covers), then TGIF and GRL GVNG, but like omg TGIF with back up dancers 🫨🤩🫨 i cant see it any other way now
trust me, they do all this on stage, AND WAY BETTER AND HARDER, Runways and Chairs, they eatinggg. I highly recomend treir Kcon performance

things you missed in TGIF the hopping position switch with the three in the middle (Cocona, Hinata, and Maya), and GRL GVNG you missed all the sign language that was part of the choreo and they all did some at some point throughout the whole song
