Darren has an extraordinary voice, maybe one of the best I have heard in my life. He got to keep it after hitting puberty, such a blessing, truely one of the best vocalists of our time. In this video it gives me goose bumps seeing how Morissette knew what was coming, she knew what tune he was about to take and she just could'nt top it, although she did her best and found a lovely tune herself. The power in Darrens voice is something else..
Sad to say he hit puberty and he really can’t hit these types of notes easily. Check him out now him and morissete a whole new world
Even after puberty, Darren's range is amazing! In fact, he can even hit higher notes now :D You can check out his "Rise Up" covers or "Phantom of the Opera"

They are not competing, this is what I like about the two of them singing together, walang sapawan. Theyre talking through their eyes and Mori urging him to go up there, we all know what Mori is capable of but for beautiful harmony she has to give way. In PH whenever theres a duet people always try to pry them against each other, even though there is no competition.

this is the best chandelier duet so far, but in my opinion this is not the best duet of all time...
What a queen for letting him hit the high notes (even though she could EASILY) to show of his talent. Do you know how many times I’ve watched this? And how many times I’ve tried to hit his high notes? He sounds like an Angel while I sound like a dying cow in heat that needs to be put out of its misery.
I think his voice is like those church choir boys that are below 13 or so. They have this soprano boys voice which they will only have up to a certain age but Darren still has his.

Darren delivered really well. Humbling for him when told HE CAN EASILY HIT THE HIGH PARTS. ....SO BE IT ! Clarity , tongue placement, pronunciation, high pitch, incredible pipes, wisdom , stage presence and HIS SUPPORTIVE HUGE FANDOM blended well.

Morissette is so professional here. she has a voice range higher than Darren and also has better falsetto but she gives him the chance to show more of his skill and the spotlight. Morissette gives this performance on harmonic, nice backing, and awesome improvisation. Her experience has been shown here. it's like Darren as a driver and Morissette as a navigator in this performance.

Charles Choy actually his highest note in his mixed voice is an A5 while she can belt up to a bb5. And she can also sing higher whistle notes. And as if now he can’t really sing high notes due to puberty. Something she’s been passed. So as I stated before she let him have spotlight.
