We Found The Abandoned Manors Railway Station! Where a Scene from Get Carter was filmed

This Video is inside the Abandoned Manors Railway Station walkway that has been hidden from the public for over 40 years. The closure of Manors North was in 1978. It is famous because a scene from the film Get Carter was filmed here, where Michael Caine followed a woman down the steps and out of the station. Sadly the steps have been removed but some nice features still remain, all of the old tiles throughout remain, the hand rails are still there in a rusted state and a nice iron fence at the top of the walkway. You can see the bricked up exits onto the platform aswell, we got onto the old platform aswell but no sign of the old exits.

would be nice if they restored it as part of the new northumberland/ashington, blyth and tyne line. the new service will pass through there to newcastle station from northumberland park metro interchange.

id love to see you get into the pandon dene service tunnels under the motorway at manors and the old ww2 pill box on the high level bridge. no body on UA-cam has done these so you'd be the first
