I had planned to do that hike in 2004, we got to Goblin Valley in the snow and was told they never got snow in southern Utah. We were told not to attempt the road in a 2wd Honda Accord so we just walked the road and into first canyon. I have not made it back to Utah sadly. I am really enjoying your videos, love the southwest.
Whoever told you Utah doesn't get snow lied to you. Way too cold up there for a desert dweller like me right now. But it's amazing. Hopefully you make it back soon. Any questions, let me know.
Yes, she is good content. Jerry we should all be a lucky as you to have such a beautiful hiking partner. Nice interesting video to see this in snow. Thanks for sharing.
It's a beautiful slot canyon. Really cool to see it in the snow. Goblin Valley State Park (and a ton of other stuff) is right around there too. Wish we'd had more time to explore this trip.
Love the snow covered rock! Thank you for taking me along. I am making a list of where to go in Utah. I need at least a month to do all the hikes that I like. This one, definitely!
I haven't. I've done some technical ones in the North Wash, but not SR. We went to the Wedge overlook and were supposed to do Baptist Draw, but it rained so no slot canyons that trip. We will definitely be back. The area is gorgeous.
Get a kick out out of your videos because we have hiked so many of the same places. Living in Montrose has made easier for us to explore. We’ll let you kids do the tough ones and then watch your videos. We’re headed to the Swell tomorrow morning. In addition to Baptist Draw, you might like Ding and Dang. Then there’s Bear’s Ear. More to Silverton than Ice Lake, just to give you some ideas. Good job with your videos. Connect if you want, email is on most videos and About page.
I'm definitely dragging my canyoneering crew up to the Swell. (Already got them up to North Wash.) So much in that area. We've only scratched the surface. Montrose would be such a great base camp. It's all a long drive from Phoenix, but I keep going back anyway.
@@JerryArizona 80 foot repell! We’re going to video the Wedge Overlook tomorrow and who knows what else if we have time. Drone footage for sure. Be safe and we look for to more of your adventures and Tina’s driving!!!!👍👍
Once again, you produce fantastic videos.
Wow....that's gorgeous in the winter as well. I will have to consider that time of the year also. Great video. Thanks.
Great time to do it. Keeps the crowds down. Goblin State Park is right there too, and looks really cool with the snow.
Love your video's, great balance between talk and trail (views) . The report between you and Tina is funny. Thanks for your efforts.

Yeah, I lucked out with Tina. The canyon is cool too.
Wow! Snow on red rock is awesome! I may have to plan on this next year. Thanks for taking us along!

To answer your question: Yes, this is good content. Had a laugh at the end and enjoyed the video!
Glad you liked it!
I love the San Rafael Swell area. At 3:45 -- Better weather? There's snow on the ground, how can it be better than that! :)
Jerry Jerry Arizona..Awesome

Have you hiked crack and chute canyon in san Rafael?

Any car can drive up to there?
Thanks!!!
Been a while since I went, but I'm almost certain it was paved most if not all of the way. I think any car would be fine.
