Thank you for coming along for the ride with us @gmc_lowlife !! If you like what you saw would you do me a favor? Gimme a like & subscribe to my UA-cam channel if you haven't already. I'd appreciate it.
I drove Highway 50 home to Utah on a trip from California in a Jaguar. Cruised at 90+ a good ways, the only cops we saw were in Ely. Beautiful drive. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Hi jeff thanks for the tour an vanishing point is a favourite movie of mine i like both of them . Its always good seeing the country side . Cheers mate🇦🇺
Been a while since I had a great SHOTGUN RIDE, some awesome history on this road, some great amazing buildings, motels are neat and cozy, Safe Travels Jeff, be waiting an watching for the next cruise
Enjoyed it Jeff, hearing that sweet 55 and seeing the sights, it was a good time. Vanishing Point was awesome too, I was 16 when it came out, the muscle car era was surrounding me, but I did not have enough income to participate. Colorado and Kansas are interesting along 50 as well.
Thanks @glensoldan4536 !! I'm glad you enjoyed it!! Don't forget the Utah section - it's amazing too. Thanks again for coming along for the ride with me.
Have not been on 50 in my 71 ford f250 4x4 with a 8’ cab over camper truck coming from San Jose California on my way to visit my kids in Wyoming with the x and hubby this was 1985
Just found your channel. Used to enjoy your road trip posts on the HAMB before they booted you because your car was too "modern". I live about an hour south east of Lake Tahoe and have family in Colorado so I take highway 50 a lot. I-80 is the faster way to go but I love the charm highway 50 has and prefer the empty roads. You should of tried the Monster Burger at Middlegate! Speaking of Vanishing Point, have to gone to Cisco, UT? Also, the Goldfield Hotel on 95 south where Super Soul broadcasted from?
Thank you so much for watching @LivingOnCash !! I love old Highway 50 too!! The Middlegate Station is awesome right?!? Now I've got an excuse to go back and try one of their burgers - thanks!! I've been to Cisco a bunch but never to Goldfield - it's been on my list for awhile. Thanks again!!
@@jeffthisted I was in Springville Utah and wanted to go to Ely Nevada. So I took that section. Never saw a soul...a farm...or even a Shed. I got to the Nevada line and dropped some coins in the slot. Whew!
Growing up in S. Lake Tahoe, the Nevada desert was my playground! Lot's of fun. Cool video! 😎
