Is a safety plan the same as an information packet? I signed that i received it. But orally social worker did say I should find counseling for my family? Also she said if the case is not closed by then they will need to come back out 10-15days just to see how the kids are doing??

It depends on what was in the information packet that you signed. It maybe a safety plan if it required you to find counseling.
