ever since my buddy recommended this in 2018 and it being my first anime I watched, it has lived rent free in my head since then being my favorite series. finished the first season and plowed through the manga. they've adapted this arc so well that I'm probably gonna steel myself from reading the rest of the next arc just so I can blind react to it before reading it.
Great Video! Thank you for bringing attention to this series like always man ^^ Would make a characters (maybe even episode) tier lists? That would be dope!
Maaa only lost some of her body. Her arm and some of the skin on her body. If you look at her after the Balancing, you can see she had to replace her lost parts with new ones.
Unpopular opinion, golden city is extremely overhyped. When you look at the actual plot points, not much happens. And the only big reveal about the nature of the abyss is wish granting eggs. It honestly feels like an overly long side quest in a game that mostly consists of talking to people and is only tangentially related to the main story. And there aren't any compelling or interesting characters introduced. Most of them just being an amalgamation of overused tropes and/or having personalities defined by a single, over simplified trait.
I really kinda just liked the ride, the last few episodes felt hard to watch becuase the actions of characters just didn't seem to make sense and what happened to maa. It felt like they found convenient ways to kill off all these people off but I mean I still liked watching it. Hopefully we will see more of the sixth layer becuase although this was cool it was a story contained within itself
Honestly thinking about it you do have a point. What I mainly took from it was the abyss broke down even this very close and wholesome group of adventurers but hasn't broken the main cast yet. But it's still a bit more of a atmosphere and concept arc rather than an arc that answers questions, so it definitely can feel like a trudge if you're not into the atmosphere.

Thanks! I’m planning on making videos for some characters
I thought this anime is just about Adventure... But I don't expect Gore or anything like that 🗿... Maybe a little bit but not Brutally like this
well it's a tragic story and very horrific
God Rico is completely insane
She’s like that tourist that I willing to try ANYTHING when they travel
Riko the menace
Reg the brainless
Nanachi the caring
The fact that fappita call him reg and Riko also call him reg makes me went “ someone should make a meme of coincidence I think not meme
Waiting for part 2
So he says a White whistle Always find's ITS was Back to the owner. Well Riko hast her mothers Whitewhisle with her ^^
can someone please explain where maa came from? she was pulled apart and then just re-appeared.
