@@geemonster9179 Sure, I get that. I think at a certain point when a former agent gets good enough at hiding and the government wastes enough resources looking, the agent just gets away. Renner is a great replacement of Damon on this one. He's a little more of a blunt instrument to Damons straight up unstoppable force but very serviceable.
Thermal vision is more of a risk than color and on the color scale yellow and orange are even brighter. Red is the color before invisible infra red right;-)
It's so disturbing how the drone operators treat the issue like a video game or a tech problem, while there's an actual person on the ground being eliminated.
Throughout the history of bombing there has been a disconnect with the human factor. It's a "target". The death on the ground can't be seen. Same goes for fighter pilots. When in the moment, they target the aircraft, not the pilot.
I mean sort of, do you want them to cry, eat ice cream and see a therapist right after? You feel better about it now? Death is wrong no matter how anyone treats it.
@@jronche yes, these things have full FLIR capabilities, infrared, thermal, ground radar, and they can also drop gps or laser guided munitions sighted by other intel sources including boots on the ground or just satellite.
Actually I thought the same thing but then realised it's a hilly area. Drones can't fly very high in hilly area coz thin air and you can't see far away. So they have to fly low. The second thing about thermal is, since flying low heights in these snow storms, the thermals do not work properly as the sensors freeze up. That's why operators mostly rely on direct camera feed. This led me to believe what they portrayed here is possible.
Considering they should provide a thermal map when targeting a living creature, they should be below 2 km. In the movie, the weather is snowy, so flying at 300m altitude is accurate in such conditions.
Presumably it's zero'd 90% just slapping it on there, environmentals he'd have to just compensate for. It would be less believable if he hit it in one, but he didn't..
I guess you enjoy being accidentally shot by hunters, then. Plus a military drone wouldn't use a simple visual camera for this kind of mission, so what color he's wearing wouldn't matter.

The best part is when he causally takes apart his gun and not even watch where the drone crash landed. Like a boss.

Jeremy Renner was a better Hawkeye in "Bourn legacy" and "Tag" than in any Avengers movie.
That's because Disney is woke garbage and all they make is trash.
Yeah, Hawkeye always had a no-nonsense personality like he is in this rather than the jokey-whedon-banter he got in the films.
