Didn't one of the potions that Shaggy drank give him a woman's body but not a womanly face? So that would explain why the villain wore a woman's mask as the reporter and how he was able to pass as a female reporter in the first place.
My mother always wondered where the gang gets their money from, as they are never seen getting paid, after the case was closed. I looked into it, and here's what I found. Shaggy is a dealer; Fred and Daphney both come from rich families, and Velma mooches off the two of them.
Shaggy's from old money in Massachusetts, Daphne is new money from a bubble bath company her father started, and while Fred and Velma are never directly confirmed to come from money, they are shown having rich relatives. (Velma even inherits a castle in one movie). Scooby and Scrappy come from Southern money, as all of their relatives are rich, Southern, and Scooby's great grandfather was a Confederate soldier.
I love this movie more than any grown adult should. It's also my son's favorite movie of all time. I don't know what that says about us, but despite the flaws, this is a lot of fun. Great points and hilarious review! Also, you know your Doo! Finally, someone else knows what Chickenstein is supposed to look like!
I honestly love both live action Scooby-Doo movies lol. They're really fun, harmless flicks. Not perfect by any means, but I have a lot of nostalgia with them.
Doctor Wolfula Wolfula I'm going to warn you about the comments. 30 percent are going to be about jerkin it. 50 percent are going to be inside jokes. 5 percent are going to be about what your next review should be. 15 percent are going to be about the actual review.
There's a simple answer to the Black Knight/Chickenstein question. They did solve mysteries in A Pup Named Scooby Doo, but at that time they called themselves the Scooby Doo Detective Agency. The Black Knight was their first case after they rebranded themselves as Mystery Inc.
1Handed Typer that could mean nothing. Ever heard the term karma’s a bitch? Never karma’s a prick? Maybe this is the same thing. Or I’m overthinking it
This film is a serious guilty pleasure of mine. I like the first one just fine, (although I probably enjoyed the deleted scenes more.) But I enjoyed watching this film with my mom a lot as a kid, along with a lot of dumb comedies. I watched Star Wars with my dad, westerns with my grandpa, Godzilla with my grandma, action films with my step dad, Disney films with my baby sister, video games with my step sister, and just listening to music with my twin brother. Also, 11:24, this makes to much sense.
Probably is, Scooby Doo and Guess Who is heading to the Boomerang App this year. Or it could be any of the myriad Direct-To-TV movies. He's the official voice actor for Shaggy now. Though there is a new theatrical movie coming in 2020.
The rude reporter gets a pass, because she/he really was evil. But everyone else was way too harsh on the gang. Maybe they were a little incompetent, but how the crap could anyone anticipate being attacked by a FREAKIN Pterodactyl?!?!?
Something I always wondered about the live action Scooby films. Were they set in the same universe as the original 60's cartoon or were they set in their own universe where events similar to the cartoon's episodes happened?
The Evil Masked Figure is voiced by Scott McNeil?! The man who did Piccolo in the Ocean Dub of Dragon Ball Z and does Koga in Inuyasha, that’s honestly freakin awesome!! 😍😍😍
I've come to realize that this movie takes many plot and thematic elements from the video game "Night of 100 Frights". Right down to the Masked Figure being a stand in for the Mastermind from that game.
This movie was kind of all over the place , But it did make me laugh. One of my favourite jokes was where they were hiding in the bushes and the guy goes " darn bushes talking to me again "
Can you make an episode going over Scooby Doo zombie island? It's my all time favorite Scooby Doo film and I'd love the doc or even goulash to talk about it
personally I enjoy the 2nd movie over the first. mostly because of the scene where shaggy sticks his head into that phonograph and he gets blasted with dust and music!
One of Velma'a fans is Lisa Ann Beley (Override from Transformers Cybertron) and one of Daphne's fans is Peter New (Big Macintosh). You guys probably already know that the EMF is voiced by Scott McNeil and several monsters are voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.
Hey Dr. Wolfula, I don't think you know this, but most of the monsters that appeared in this film weren't intended to be in this film, here is a rundown for the scrapped monsters, The Creeper (scrapped and replaced with the zombie), Redbeard (scrapped and replaced with Miner 49er), Phantom Shadows (scrapped and replaced with Skeleton Men), Ghost Clown (scrapped and replaced with Captain Cutler's Ghost), and Headless Horseman (scrapped and replaced with the Black Knight)
I work in news media and it's possible for an anchor to also be a field reporter and editor. Usually they'd be working in very small stations in the middle of nowhere which we in the trade refer to as "one man bands". They set up and breakdown their shots, edit the video at the studio and prepare to do the news behind the desk. Of course with this movie.......
Are you gonna review the new version of scooby Doo mystery begins and curse of the lake monster on cartoon network? If you do i wanna know if you like it and post it on UA-cam @doctorwolfula

Too bad we couldn’t get more cameos of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo villains like the Headless Skateboarder or The Dinkley 2000 or The Ghost Of The Hooded Heifer or Boo-Beard or The Ghost Of Purvis Parker
Actually it's more similar to the scene where they're passing the book to each other and witches ghost PS I'm talking about the scene where they're passing the control panel to each other

They should bring em back and just adapt zombie island. Like you mentioned, it's similar to the 1st movie but zombie island is the goat and would be wicked live action - pun certainly intended.
GUYS, THERE'S THIS VIDEO IN WHICH NERDSYNC ACTUALLY TELLS YOU TO WATCH THE 2ND MOVIE *FIRST* AND THEN THE ORIGINAL FILM! i might actually think nerdsync took heed of dr. wolfula's words here and changed the order of these films so it's more PROPER!
Me and my dad went to see this in the theater when it came out, got their too early and ended up seeing Home On The Range instead. A few months later I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I think it's all related lol
Like the first movie, we wouldn't have memes from the both of them. Specifically for this one, Fred's quote "I think Coolsville sucks!", and the potion scene. Scott McNeil was amazing as the villain, but once again another talent wasted(come to think of it, McNeil was also great playing Lord Raptor in the Darkstalkers 90s Cartoon). There's also the GBA title and flash game Museum of the Smithsonian that tie to Scooby-Doo 2 Monsters Unleashed. The latter had a jumpscare that's unexpected, with the nightmare inducing face feeling too out of place for this franchise, then it was never mentioned again. Yeah, like wtf?
The one to this day I still understand is this. For the sequel being a lot more faithful to the original formula why in the world did it get 21% on Rotten Tomatoes and the first film got 30%. Seriously?
Didn't one of the potions that Shaggy drank give him a woman's body but not a womanly face? So that would explain why the villain wore a woman's mask as the reporter and how he was able to pass as a female reporter in the first place.
this is brillant
That's why the scene was there. As an intentional clue to Jacobo's identity as Heather Jasper Howe.
When you realize fucking Scooby Doo 2 is more cleverly written than you think.
That really dose make sense
True wow

I think Shaggy eventually became a child of a rich family too

I hate Flim-Flam too

I find that strange that they don’t have the Creeper, Space Kook or Phantom especially since they actually have their costumes in the museum.

I think he needs to have Ghoulash review the live action ScoobyDoo prequels since they are not worth of his proper review.
Shaggy’s expression to seeing all the monsters they accidentally unleashed is hilarious.
This movie definitely felt more like proper tribute to Scooby-Doo instead of a parody
I’ve heard that Spooky Space Kook and Phantom Shadow was planned to apart of the movie but that to cut due to budget issues.
