I found the comfort great, but sound wise, even with bass adjusted (through equalizer), the bass felt way too present, in a weird kind of way. And that's coming from someone who prefers bass boosted things. It just felt very mellow, as if there was a capacitor smoothing the head and tail of lower frequency sound. Also some minor artifacts when listening to certain ambient music.
nice review!!! yesterday i saw an update on the “dyson app” for these headphones, after that update now there’s a new option where i can personally equalize them, exactly as i want, hope it helps :)
Tough market to get into with SO many players already creating quality headphones and many of them being a part of an "ecosystem". But, these at least have a unique look on top of being a quality product so maybe they'll do ok. I'm not sure the name Dyson will work well for audio when it's associated with vacuums and such. 🤔
headphones are sooo unique to the user. i have the launch day dyson zones and i wear them WITH filtration as often as practical. they work well and sound great . the ANC is on par with the to ANC'ed headphones out there in my opinion of using these for months.
I liked the Comfort 😊 Sonos ACE was a no for me because of pain on my big Head. Sound Stage was Like a small room which was not helping - i mostly listen to Metal and Punk. AirPods Max are Great but old and i don‘t wanna spend Money on a 4 year old pair of headphones
I tried them for a day and i hated them/returned them. They sound fine, are very stylish and are built very nicely but the controls are awful and they are super unconfortable. Very bad headband adjustment (top of the band which adjusts more horizontaly) that couldn't reach my ears. In comparison I still have my Bose QC35ii and don't have to pull them to max size to reach my ears. The earpads though are the worst thing about these. They might look confortable but the earholes are tiny which leads to your ears being a bit folded in them. My ears also got very sweaty wearing them. Also they are too heavy to the point that I was focusing more on balancing them on my head rather than focusing on the music. The controls are very bad too. You have to tap super hard on the earcups to change the ANC mode that your ear starts ringing (the sound effect is also very loud with no way to turn it down) and most of the time it does not work. The joystick needs to be held in the volume increase/decrease direction to work and makes it extremely annoying to use. Didn't try them long enough to test ANC and battery life but I would probably not been able to wear them for so long anyway. These are not even close to the competition which is a shame. I'd give them a 3/10, wouldn't recommend even if they were on sale.
@@chronanton yeah That really seems to be the case. The double tap on the bracket where the battery is worked wonderfully for me when charging. However, I didn't want to buy the headphones day 1 yet - I'm always a bit cautious about firmware these days 🙈
@@chronanton I belong to the "melon head" faction, so it's important to me to have sturdy, large headphones that don't stick out too much to the side, if you know what I mean. The dyson OnTrac are comfortable for me despite my earlobes being stretched - the only thing is that the headphones can get warm.
These aren’t worth anywhere near 600$. My sennheizer 200$ (cad) pair of headphones sound better then these or at least on par. The only thing that makes Dyson a potential better option is the build quality feel.
Why is it that nobody can come close to spatial audio? How did a computer company created the best sounding regular market earphones? Or am I missing something and there is an alternative?
I just tried these at best buy and was impressed with the sound and the comfort.

Try sennheizers for a fraction the price. The sound quality will become disappointing for the price. These ain’t worth 500$

Can they be plugged with a 3.5mm while the battery is completely dead? And keep on listening to whatever play
I hate when manufacturers put their logos on the sides/strap of headphones. D Y S O N. I'm not willing to pay 500 dollars to be a walking billboard.
Ok, good luck living your live in 2024zz
@@ClosestNearUtopia Wrong. It's really easy to find clothes and tech without huge logos.

I love how Sonos ace look, everything else is not impressive, we don’t have many choice 😢

Added these to my cart, for when they are 50% off.
heavy on the 50% off
Even at 50% off they aren’t worth it in my opinion. Look at sennheizers around 200$ price point. You’ll get the same sound quality. Maybe a bit better
re-uploaded?
Yes, boring.
Sorry. There were just too many errors in the last version so we had to pull it.
do these, or any another Bluetooth headphones have replaceable lithium ion batteries?

You can tap on the Headband i tested them in a dyson Store :) You don‘t have to tap on the cups.
@@MerlinKapur I did try that but same as tapping on the earcup it didn't feel reliable at all. Maybe I got a faulty product

If only they had a headphone jack :(
I am getting it my birthday money and on holiday I will be working so I will put the money to towards the headphones?????
Naw. Look at sennheizers or audio technica. Maybe get a much better deal with sound quality that matches or surpasses these

Can you test the beoplay h95
They just toally ripped off B&O
I have the top of the range B&O x rimowa. They’re more quality and even on full volume they’re not that great.
Kinda steam punkish
Oh no! Not again!
Design wise is replica of b n O
I have no idea how heavy 450 grams is
Almost half a kilo

About 1 lbs
A very unique product. The weight of such large earmuffs is probably increased a lot, so I prefer lightweight products.
