I don't know why but I've watched this video over and over for the past week. I just LOVE how you organize everything and explain how you budget in great detail.
Love your new budget binder. Would definitely like to see a sinking funds and savings video.
I LOVE that you added this type of visual element to your budget. I think this will help people see how their behaviors are affecting their budget such as spending all your money right after you get paid or spending the most money on weekends or saturdays. Then, you can adjust accordingly, have a no spend Saturday if that's your typical high spend day. I think I'm going to do the same thing and maybe have written in pencil the amount I have left for each category on the side. Love this idea so much. Thank you!!

You could use the dotted/grid page for your monthly budget if the order bothers you! I'm not sure yet how I"m gonna set mine up. January didn't work out so well so I will be changing it for next month! Hopefully I work out the kinks by December haha! Thanks for the ideas!

I debated for a few weeks about purchasing this but I love how yours looks. I wanted something with better paper quality.
I always start with like a journal and planner and all that and it goes good for about a week, maybe two, but then I just get busy or forget or say I'll do it later, and a year later I'm like darn. Maybe this year I can stay on track 😂

I really like your setup!! It's all in one place. Currently I'm using a 3 ring binder with budgeting sheets and debt tracker sheets. But it's heavy and can't fit in my purse lol. Thanks for the ideas!!
Thank you for the inspiration! :) I use a Happy Planner for daily planinng. But during the month I NEVER looked at the Monthly View. So I set up an Expenses Tracker now. Maybe this will help, seeing where my money went. :D

Yay! I bought the budget planner insert for my Happy Planner and I too can't wait to get it prepped for January budget! Speaking of budget, do you know if they sell those flagged paper clips in Michael's as well I do the clip system as well, but I would prefer to sue paper clip type of clips, not binder clips.

yes please show your savings so I can learn more. At 52 I have no savings because I don't stick to a budget. If I have say 50 left over it gets spent please help.
Deanna Franklin buy a safe and plastic baggies. Put the money in a baggie after you pay the bills. lock it in a safe. Watch it growwww

How do I budget for the next month when I'm not sure what my checks will be?
Start with the bills that need to get paid...That is pretty constant, right? Food, shelter, gas, cell phone bill... start there and when a check comes in, pay the essentials first. We all have to live someplace, we all eat, and most of us have a car so that needs gas in it. Go from there...if you have surplus, start a saving account or an emergency fund for unexpected costs... Give to it every month if you can. It adds up... Good luck!!! XOXO

Do you use your weekly spread for your todo list?
Elizabeth Hodoway there is no weekly spread on this Erin Condren planner. This is called the deluxe monthly planner. So no weekly pages.
