My guess is, Poco F6 is not going to be cheap. Poco F5 was launched starting at 30k for the 8/256 version and it had SD 7+ gen 2. This phone was first launched in China as Redmi Note 12 Turbo at CNY 1999 (about Rs 24k) and then rebranded as Poco F5 for India.
Similarly, Poco F6 is the rebranded Redmi Turbo 3 which launched a few weeks back in China at the same price of CNY 1999. But this phone has SD 8s Gen 3 and has improvements in display, gorilla glass, ip rating, battery charging speed etc. But still they kept the price same and that too for a higher RAM version. It starts at 12gb RAM instead of 8gb. So CNY 1999 is for the 12/256 version, a much better deal!
Coming to India, tho. We can be sure that Poco F6 is not launching at the same price as Poco F5, i.e. 30k. No. I thought they might be launching at 35k. But, that seems quite unlikely now. It could probably start at around 40k or even more. The reason why SD 8s Gen 3 is being touted as flagship killers is probably for the same reason, to increase the price of the phone. Although the chip is quite good! Also maybe the inflation and taxes in India will play a role in increasing the price of the phone. But ig, the reason why there is this Collab and sponsored videos from Qualcomm is to bring it home to us consumers that 8s Gen 3 is a flagship processor and it will have flagship like prices. So that we consumers won't bitch too much about the price and those who feel like buying it will buy it.
Let's see. I would be quite happy if poco could pull it off somehow and bring the price diwn
If it comes at around 30-35k then the poco x6 pro would be the better option , because it comes with similar features , if they launch poco f6 at 25-30k it would mess their own market because poco x6 pro is competing at that price.
Mark my words it will be launch at 30-32k for base varient.not more than that because iqoo neo 9 pro is already there in 35k segment which is better device with more powerful processor,144hz ltpo display, better camera, faster charging with big battery, better build.for your information sd8 gen 2 is more powerful and better than 8s gen 3
@@sanjaypatil348 Ah, yes. I didn't think about that. If that is the case then the starting price shouldn't be more than 35k. Although one thing to note here is that, iqoo base variant is 8/128 (ufs 3.1) at 35k. And Poco F6 base variant in China was 12/256 (ufs 4.0). So that could mean they could start at 37k. Yes, SD 8 Gen 2 is slightly better than 8s Gen 3, more so in the GPU side ig. Let's see what price they launch at anyways. It would be dope if it was launching at 30k!

That is because he only tested it on 20 threads.in 30 minutes test he tested it on 40 threads and score is improved
Im telling everyone again, DO NOT fall for Qualcomm naming scheme. They are marketing 8sGen3 as somewhat closer to the flagship 8gen3 but in reality it's weaker than 8gen2, yes, the last year flagship. The CPU is slightly more powerful than 8+Gen 1 and the Adreno 735 is basically Adreno 730 with higher clock speed. I would suggest not to fall for such marketing and get a SDgen2 phone instead, unless you are really tight on your budget.
