Surprisingly tame compared to Watership Down
I regretfully concede this point. The regret largely stemming from the fact that W.D. is considered a children's book by many.
9 was a pretty f*cked up year for me...
That was one messed up kids' show.

Really? K Massive Spoiler Alert!
This Movie is about a pair of Dogs that escape cruel experiments in hopes of finding an owner that will love and care for them. One is repetitively drowned and resuscitated to test his endurance while another has had his brain tampered with so that he now has trouble distinguishing his dreams from reality. Over the course of their journey they are hunted, staved and even resort to eating a human to stay alive.
The Movie reaches it's end when Snitter, the dog who cannot tell dreams from reality swims out into the ocean claiming to see an Island that can can live happily on. Rowf is of course terrified of the water but swims after him, whether this is because he doesn't want to leave his friend or because he faces death if he stays is unclear.
What is clear is that after swimming into fog and not being able to see anything their bodies have reached their limit and they begin to struggle to keep their heads above the water. Snitter realizes that the Island was a dream and that he has not only lead them both to their deaths but his best friend to the death he feared the most. "There isn't any Island!" he cries in despair! And Rowf, who must be beyond terrified and knows better then anyone what is about to happen replies with "There! Our Island.... Just stay with me... I'll get you there..."
He swallows his fear and does all he can to ease his friends final moments.
If there is a more tear inducing ending to a movie I have not seen it.
I love that the Robot Chicken sketch is less bloody than the children's cartoon it's parodying xD

I know it’s because of animation limitations but I love how the Fraggles mostly waddle around everywhere.
We barely saw their legs in the show so this makes sense.
Watership Down meets Final Destination meets Fraggles.

If you're in serious, external, pain, you're going to scream like you've never screamed before.
Yes. People who have watched Fraggle Rock know Wembly never had visions (last time I checked, none of these guys did), but in this parody, Wembly is supposed to be the equivelent of Fiver from "Watership Down" who DID have visions of bloodshed and fear. That is what makes the joke and the overall parody work.

What a funny parody to a dark movie.
You know, Jim Henson came up with Fraggle Rock as an international television show. Here were three different species of creatures, more or less ignorant of the others, having to learn over time to live together in peace and harmony. Henson jokingly (or was he?) said that he wanted it to be a show that brings about world peace.
So seeing this skit is dark. But I know it's just a joke. Don't worry. I'm not oversensitive.
