I know this will anger a lot of people but the one trend I have never and will never do is….UGG boots. Unless you’re very tall with very thin legs, they flatter pretty much no one. I feel like they’re the cool girl equivalent to Crocks. Sorry not sorry.
The leggings you wore had a short shirt pared with them, which isn’t/shouldn’t be done, but here in the North, leggings with longer tops are still worn casually for just hanging out or running errands.

Ok, I have been a stylist for just over 15 years and I completely disagree that headbands are out of style. They are not a trend. Maybe certain types of headbands are "out of style" but not headbands all together. I would also suggest (as opposed to saying "Heather, you absolutely shouldn't be wearing this" but like always, you never want your bra straps to show, but, and Im honestly shocked that you would suggest this, but having what looks like your entire bra showing is not a good look for anyone, especially not a women of your age. I keep adding on! I have only seen a couple videos on your channel, and it is partly because of the fact that I am a stylist, but you wore the Spanx faux leather leggings as pants!! Even after you said (correctly) not to wear leggings as pants!!

Trends are set by the fashion industry so that they are out as quickly as possible and people are amazed at how one can wear something that is so out of style. It's good that something changes to give you the chance to get pieces that flatter your proportions or express your attitude to life, but you shouldn't allow yourself to become a victim of having to wear something in order to avoid being ignored to be judged by superficial people.
We should wear what we want. U know it still is a free country. A person should look in the mirror and take inventory of what's going on there. I guess u need something to fill up negative space on your utube.

Not sure if what’s considered out of style is regional or age group specific, but headbands and other hair accessories are really trendy in my area. But I don’t necessarily ditch the clothes I love just because they’re declared to be “out of style.” I take most fashion advice with a grain of salt.

I watch a number of style channels, including those whose style I think is a bit "stuffy" because even if the style is not my vibe, I still think I can pick up some tips at times (even if it is what not to wear! ☺). I was watching another style channel before your video and she said the cuffed jeans were out, I do like the cuffed pair you highlighted though and would definitely wear them! I love that we have choices, however I want to get the most bang for my buck!
I have 3 thin, twisted leather from Nordstrom that I wear when my hair has to be up off my neck in hot, humid weather. You can barely tell it’s there. I love my Nordstrom headbands, but yes, they’re not the thick ones.
Don't care for the super open necklines. Sling back peeptoe heels were my signature shoes...in the 70s and 80s! I like the new pant shape on trend, higher waist looks best on me so I am finally in style, lol.
You have grate taste in styling, I like all new updated jeans you are wearing. I will never wear low rise skinny jeans, and what is with no pants underwear style? Tacky.
While it is not my style personally, I think the bustier and the red dress looks really good on you. My favourites are the army jacket, jeans and white tank outfit and the pretty blue blazer outfit. Like you, blue is one of my best colors and I always get complimented on how good blue looks on me (I'm blonde with fair, cool undertone skin). I always stick with plain white leather sneakers as they never go out of style. The Calla shoes look really cute. I don't wear any of the out of fashion items you mentioned. I quit wearing leggings as an outfit back in about 2019. After wearing black legging outfits for 8-9 years, I just got so tired of them. I don't think that other than for working out, I will ever wear legging outfits again. I am rocking my jeans at 58 and can't ever see myself not wearing them. So happy to see denim back in a big way.

Not fond of your new hair color. Your roots and 4-5 inches of the hair on your crown is a totally different color (silver/grey) than your extensions which are a white/yellow color. Very aging. Add some lowlights along with your blonde would be much more youthful.

No it’s not sorry don’t agree tall women show off there amazing waist with high rise pants etc. I was in Paris in May this year I go every year with three friends from Australia as we own a flat there and the most stylish women on the planet the French look amazing in the high waisted pants as did the run way models at the fashion event gala we attended. Maybe you are look at cheap brand high waisted jeans/pants but the quality ones are chic 💕
