I got here via a roundabout way, I was checking out the cast of a movie called Teenage Crime Wave, one of the actresses was in an episode of 'this series' . Funny thing, on IMBD the show doesn't have an endpoint ! Says it started in 1950 or something and then just has a hyphen with no end date !
"We just traded a million dollar aircraft for a hole in the ground". Great line. This is at Nellis Air Force Base with the 57th Wing, next to Las Vegas. I was stationed there working on the F-111, then transferred to the 23rd Wing at McConnell AFB in Kansas during the Vietnam War, after serving in Vietnam with the 834th Air Division and 374th TAW. The F-100 Supersabre had flight instability and would do the Sabre dance and crash.
