Just over 11 years later and watched a video on your current facility earlier today. Congrats on the growth!

    Great video. Great design.
Awesome tips about placement of bucket hole and drilling holes in the lid to prevent vacuum effect.
Only thing I would change is to have the piping clear if possible. Easier to see if the system needs flushing out rather than waiting for a blockage to occur.

The best way to stop Algae from growing in a clear tube rack system is to put a little blue food coloring in the water. When u do this your putting a different light spectrum in the water making it much much harder for the algae to grow.

You should consider plumbing a Camelbak Hydrolink into the bucket. It's a quick-release fitting, and I believe it's the same size as your tubing.

When do you consider them weaned? When they reach a certain age or weight? Our rats will hit about 45-50 grams in about 3 weeks which is the size of a weaned rat but dont they have to go until 5 weeks old?

    hello,
I live in France and I breed mice. I use the moment baby bottles
for rodents but I find having binding fill both
    days.
I wish to know if you could send me a link where I can
find the same model as yours. If it is not possible is it for you
possible to give me the exact name of the pipettes?
    Thank you in advance.
    Tim.

It seems drilling out that corner to corner hole might help to cut down on any binding on the corners which may be caused by bending the tubing around the corner. Seems like a good idea.
