Love this channel getting the Rc bug big time . Built models for years and just now getting into the 1/16 th scale an wanting to get into the rc builds now had rc cars an trucks years ago but tank Rc bug is biting hard but big fan of your page now an following since you found the older king tiger kit waiting to see it all done
Thanks Rodney! I am the same as you I used to race RC cars and trucks back in the day, then slowly migrated to the Tamiya tanks for the enjoyable build process and scale realism.

I have a henschel tiger (realy old 1979?)
and a modell with a "porsche" turret with the "newer" gear Box 1990?.
Very cool, we will see how hard it is to get the "Porsche" turret to work I guess.
I still have the plastic barrel with a elevator/depression motor in the porsche turret i like to change it to a Aluminium barrel with a retractor, but its pretty hard for me
@@exzendar2523 Hope I can show how it's done during this build.
It is worth replacing the plastic bushing with a ball bearing when building the Tamiya drill - it is a useful bit of kit for drilling plastic

Bearing just drops in - it looks like the drill was designed to take one
Why not get the proper one piece barrel for early king tiger for your porsche ? Awsome build!!

50% not sub. Sand the back of the zim. You got the makita brushless for vday. Your videos are very entertaining. You are getting me interested in doing a 1/16th rc tank. My wife thanks you...lol
you're close might want to try watching closer to the end of the video....and building these tanks are challenging but so much fun I highly recommend it, my apologies to the wife! LOL
