I was there in SEP for a week. Saw the NKP 765. I am about 2200 miles away, but it was a great rail fanning journey. Went into PA to Cresson, Cassandra and Altoona. Then down to Shreveport LA (KCS country), into Texas for 2 weeks, Nebraska (you have to see North Platte and Alliance), then back to the Northwest. We have great railroading here also.
I am watching this video right now and I think it is awesome! I was just up there in June with a friend of mine from Florida filming trains there and in Beleview. We still have a lot to post from then but it looks like you had a good day. Nice video and I like seeing the train with the conductor riding on the last boxcar.
Thank you! Fostoria and Bellevue are my two favorite hotspots to go to, but I have to admit I like Fostoria a bit better, but Bellevue has been making great improvements to its own railpark in the last two years. And it was a good day of railfanning, hope you enjoyed it.
The spot closest to Columbus Avenue, which is the street facing east from the platform, is a spot where yo can see both CSX and NS without moving. There's also the western edge of the park near the entrance on Poplar street where you can get close to both NS and CSX.
It's been a few years since we've train watched in Fostoria. We're planning an over night stay. Is there any 2 days of the week that are best for seeing the most trains go by?

I'm going to Fostoria this August and was wondering if there's any spot where you can see both NS and CSX perfectly without having to move around

Idk Jason, sorry.
Shame Train City is a dying little town..
Yeah it is a shame that Fostoria is slowly dying. Still the trains and the number of trains are still going strong.
