I may not have and never will be raising pigs, chickens, ducks or turkeys but I enjoy watching you and your family. Yes, I made it to the end of your video. Keep the videos coming.
Great video!! Didn’t seem long at all. It’s pretty cool you have the opportunity to move them off your pasture during this wet time so they don’t ruin it. Wise decision.
Merry Christmas and happy new year. Watched All the way through because we are fans of your UA-cam channel . Oh my, Sassy’s piglets are so chubby cute.😄 I really like your make the change theme. My son likes to add, that is why we call it ‘the present’. Because we have the gift of time to change! Blessings to everyone!
Good Morning Thank You for sharing your adventures with us we just adopted 4 Kunekune/ American Guinea Hogs cross for breading, Yes made it to the end .
Not your mom, it's not raining, so . . . Enjoyed the video as always. Those are going to be some happy ladies with so much new area to explore. Merry Christmas to you and the family and praying for a prosperous new year. Blessings always, g.
I keep mine under cover and off pasture for 3 months of the year when its cold, wet, and muddy. I used Joel Salatins method of deep mulch bedding with dry wood chips. Worked great last year and got a ton of compost from it. Start off with about 12" of wood chips, then continuously add to it where they poo all winter. Will be 2-3 ft thick by spring. You don't need a very big area for them with this system. My two big boars are in 120sq ft space right now.
Love the kunekune's!! We have one boar that roams, he is the best, but of course can be a turd over food, it's funny how smart they are, he has our property mapped out knows when and who is getting fed. Lol. Still looking for a lady friend for him. Your girls are beautiful!
We are in Tennessee about an hour west of Knoxville we have a waiting list and will have more available this spring. You can contact us at kcfarmstn@gmail.com or shoot us a message on Facebook
We usually have 3-4 100ft fences for each pen and depending on how many pigs are in the pen determines how often we move them. During summer months when pasture is good we try to move them weekly.
Mornin John, I’m thinking a 2” ball on the drawbar of your tractor is a whole lot cheaper than a 4x4 truck. Especially in this “let’s go Brandon” economy. Seriously, put a ball on the tractor drawbar and pull the pig trailer out to your gravel drive then hook up to the truck. Wishing you and your family a merry Christmas from Yellowhouse farm in the panhandle of Texas.
I love watching your videos! Thank you for sharing your lives.
You’re welcome we appreciate you following along
Oh my! Thank you for showing you MISSING the food dish! I needed a laugh in this bitter cold after taking care of our KKs 😄
Keep the videos rolling, have two kune kunes of my own. The videos help me grow my knowledge of these pigs!
Thanks! Appreciate you following along

Awesome. Hopefully i can do like yours someday.
Start planning you can do it
Do you tote water out to them in these various pens as well as their food?
Yes we use 5 gallon buckets to tote water we have the well finished up so we don’t have to travel as far for water
Where you guys located? I’d love to buy a breeding pair from you!

@@KCFarms that’s so awesome! I’m in celina up near the Kentucky border. Middle TN near Cookeville. I’ll shoot you guys an email!
I'm surprised you never said something about Coyotes. Are your Kune safe?
Just looking for kunekune rotational grazing videos….
How often are you moving them?
How big of a space are you giving per pig?
We usually have 3-4 100ft fences for each pen and depending on how many pigs are in the pen determines how often we move them. During summer months when pasture is good we try to move them weekly.
Helli, what are the food bowls made of please?
They are rubber feed bowls from tractor supply

Hey Ron Merry Christmas!! That is definitely the plan gonna use the tractor
I think our trailer is hooked to the tractor more than anything else. It’s great for maneuvering in a lot tighter spots too.
Not your mom lol
Haha!! Thanks for following along!
