Makes me feel lucky and grateful to hear Joshe's story. It was very raw and real. It's epic to see how he is making a positive impact on his own life through surfing and the ocean given the life he was dealt, along with passing that love along to the younger generations. Great content and collab with the Bong and Wasted Talent. Keep that real shit coming.

Shjoe guys, this warms my heart. Having grown up in the garden route with my cousins in Jeffrey's, this really hits home.
I wish more people would see the stuff y'all are putting out. Best board culture content on the internet! Seriously, this is two scenes away from being submittable to film festivals.
Less VO narration, hide the Khayelitsha/Cape Town insert shots a bit better and add one or two more raw slice-of-life scenes of the J-Bay culture and I could see this winning awards. I wish there was a platform besides UA-cam where one could put this kind of stuff out there without getting overshadowed by the massive corporate content machine.

You should be so proud of yourself for thinking your way out of that dangerous life that surrounds you. So many just go with the flow of their surroundings and just accept their life even when they want to escape their situation. They do not think their way out of their bad situation. They do not set goals and go for them. But, you did!!!!
We all must use analytical thinking to think our way out of where we are in life and where we want to be in life. And, you thought your way out of your horribly bad situation!!! This is powerful!! You have a incedible Strong mind. Congrats. You are a Smart guy & great surfer Joshe!!! Keep setting your goals..you have the mindset & skills to accomplish everything you set your mind to!!
