He’s a really busy guy but I would love to have a gun or 2 featured in one of his April Fools videos. He’s the most entertaining guntuber in my opinion and makes the best videos.
Similar situation to the M41A, I was shocked to find out the base gun they used to build the props for this weapon was a Ruger Mini 14 of all things! Crazy what some good cosmetic modding can do to a gun. Make a normal looking or historical gun like the Thompson or Mauser Broomhandle look very much like something from a different universe xD
Damn how am i just now realizing Zander uses a shorter carbine version of the Morita and that totally makes sense in an escape pod or small transport vessel. Impressive attention to detail on the prop masters part.

could probably be done, just depends on how thick you can get the shell and whether or not it can manage the heat, some of the fiberglass shells used in the movie ended up melting due to the temp from firing, its why the inside of them is lined with a heat resistant spray/coating

I'm kind of curious as to how you got these awesome guns. did you acquire them via purchase, trade or gifting or did you make them yourself to some degree with gunsmithing or parts kits. One reason I ask is because one of my dream rifle setups is a bullpup 308 with a semi-auto shotgun attached either integrally or thru mounting rails, with also an attachment that gives it a setup somewhat like the bigger morita rifle has, only I would probably go with more of a ring trigger that's in front of the middle finger instead of the way it is in the movie to that would probably hinder the grip you have on the gun. Another idea I had in that vein of things is what a hybrid of the Morita rifle and the Pulse rifle from Aliens would look like. A rifle that's the lovechild of two alien space-bug slaying guns would be awesome.

I never said Zander was the only one who used the Morita Carbine. I said that the fiberglass shrouds in my video are the exact shrouds off of the AC556 rifle that Patrick Muldoon’s character used in the movie. Interesting fact, the Morita Carbine is pretty rare actually as they only made a handful of them for the film. The overwhelming majority of rifle props used were the full-size Morita’s that were much more common throughout the movie.

I'm a huge Mass Effect fan so that would be pretty cool. I'm sure its possible, I would just need to find an adequate host firearm to build the Avenger around. I am currently in the process of learning how to 3D scan to assist in printing a housing for a real firing Warhammer 40k Bolter project I am doing. An M8 Avenger shouldn't be too different.

No, no L85’s. Just AC556’s and Mini14’s fitted into a custom fiberglass bullpup chassis.
