Ellington's Last Day 2005

Ellington Pit closed as an NCB colliery in 1994 and finally shut down under private ownership in 2005. This video is a collection of memories of that last day.

Amazing interesting footage. I personally would have preferred it without the music so you could hear all the sounds, but that’s just me. It’s heartbreaking we have lost this industry. Thanks for sharing ❤
