nooo not the T40 :( i like the T40 more than any other Russian tractor mostly because that's what we had when i grew up. we still have it but it's only jobs is ploughing snow and hauling fire wood from our forest. back when we still farmed we where actually so lazy that rather than replace the starter motor we built a hill out of all the soil that came out of the hole we dug for our little swimming pond next to the sauna. we called that hill the the tractor hill because we parked the t40 there every night so we could roll start it in the morning. every time it would get turned off while not on the hill we had to get our uncle to pull start it with his semi truck. the starter motor is replaced now so now we don't use the tractor hill anymore
I like it too. My grandpa sold his when i was 3 but we still have a T25 and a MTZ 82

It must had beed a very nice tractor to work with. I have one of these myself. My friend needs some service with the clutch and oil leaks but over all it's a good tractor.

what makes it so great is how hard you can push it. it's not the biggest or the strongest but it sure does have a strong spirit and soul. nothing manlier than front end up in the air engine screaming and all your mates sitting on the hood to add weight because real men take a real manly load. ain't nobody got time to drive mutiple times. load as much shit as you can and then worry about how the fuck you gonna get it home that's the T40 way

I hope so too. It will have a easy life with some mild forest work and he lives in a shed in the future. What more can you wish for pension :)

Sad moment, but fun fact, that I just noticed: "Külavanem" is "faluvénje" in hungarian.
Remarkable similarity.
Estonian is from Uralic Language family, so we kind of share the languages... I bet we could find more similarities.
Hungarian is an interesting language. It has the same finno-ugric roots as estonian, and finnish, but teceived tons of turkic, german and slavic influence. To make things more "simple", in the XVIII. century there was a movement to modernize the hungarian language, whereas hundreds of artifical words entered the everyday spoken language.
Anyway! I am used to that actually nobody understands a word from what I say, so everybody, who's language sounds similar to mine, and shares my passion for old, oily iron has a special place in my heart. :-)
