I am so glad to hear @Jeri S! Praise the Lord! God is willing and able to set you completely free from scrupulosity. Though I don't have the details of what you have been experiencing when you say you have been struggling with scrupulosity as long as you can remember, typically the real core issue is legalism. Scrupulosity (especially related to the fear of sin, hell, losing one's salvation, having a continuous guilty conscience, never knowing whether you have done enough and the obsession with spiritual performance and morals) is just another name for legalism. I encourage you to seek the Lord concerning legalism. As you attack the real problem, the root of your fears and torments (legalism) with God's mighty help, you will get well over time. I encourage you to ask God to reveal to you the difference between legalism and the sound doctrine of grace and to believe Him to purge your life completely from legalism. We are saved from our sins and from hell and from the wrath to come through faith in Jesus's work at the cross on our behalf. The grace of God is the unmerited favor of God and the power of God to live holy which is great news. You can also find my other videos on my UA-cam channel on related topics. I can also recommend material to read if you are interested (just let me know). Lastly, you can find my blogs here if you are interested: www.paulandkathleenministries.org/blog This too shall pass! Only trust Him to deliver you and do not give up until you taste the fullness of the freedom that Christ died to give you. Please let me know if you have any questions. God bless
Bless you for this. I have been struggling very severely with religious OCD since March 6 of this year. My roots were not in legalism (although OCD is basically uncontrollable legalism that our brain tortures us with), but in frustration with Jesus and doubting His goodness when my whole life seemed to fall apart. I started having the worst blasphemous thoughts/phrases against Jesus/demonic urges and as I keep on healing from this mess, sincere repentance has been such an anxiety for me. “What if I am not sincerely repentant? What if I’m just scared of losing the blessings, like Esau? What if I don’t really love Jesus?” I’ve had to trust that even if my worst fears WERE true, Jesus would still follow me with His love and continue working on my heart to repent and genuinely come in line with His ways. I think I was meant to watch your video today as last night I woke up at 4am, sobbing about this, feeling completely cut off from Jesus and past hope. The biggest thing that stood out to me in this video was when you said, “The fruit of true repentance is coming to God and not hiding anything from Him.” Well, He hears it all from me. He hears all my worst fears and all the frustrated blasphemous phrases against Him that my brain hangs on to. And I’ve told Him many times that I want Him to heal me. So, you gave me some hope today. Thank you. ❤️
Hello @FeliciaMirage, my husband and I prayed for you tonight. Also, I watched a video again this evening and I believe the testimony will really minister to you. What the young woman went through isn't what you have been going through, but what will minister to you is what she shares with regards to God, how He sees us and about who we are in Christ. It begins just past the 3 minutes mark. What will bless you especially is when God enters the scene in her life and onward. But the main message that will minister to your heart is the part about Jesus comes where you are and takes you the way you are; come as you are and He will work things out with you. May God minister to your heart. Here is the link: www.100huntley.com/watch?videoID=335359
Hello Feliciamirage I first want to thank God for using katleen to help so many believers including me that also had suffered this. My dear, everything you're going through i did too..blasphemous thoughts, fear, anxiety as high as the sky, sleepless nights, thinking God is angry at me, thinking because of those thoughts when something bad happens its God punishing me...hahaha my dear friend that is a lie!!! I come to tell you and agree what karhleen has been teaching in her videos that you can be set FREE. You must first know how much God loves you and knows this is not who you are..He knows your heart. Please start reading few scriptures to counteract what those thoughts you're hearing..thoughts like im going to hell...you say no no no for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus...i have no faith...no i have faith because i know he who started a good work in me will carrry out to completion, and through my weakness God is strong..speak these words out..your mouth is the vessel God use to speak His Gods words to smash these lies to pieces. God adores you so much felicia. Declare everyday "i have the mind of Christ".no matter what!!! The devil also loves to take advantage of our ignorance for he knows the truth sets us free..and my dear you are going to be set free.. i was on medication because i didnt understand this but our deliverance is knowledge. I even thought i was posses..I never thought id be here writing a testimony when last year i wrote kathleen in torment hahaha i laugh at this now and so will you but remember to help others as you overcome this just as God has helped you. Its not an overnight fix, some days youll feel worse than some that's ok, get back up and keep declaring..fasting also helps me alot. Fasting is very powerful. Thank you again kathleen and be encouraged Felicia. God blessm

There are many abusive, religious heretics that rely on this idea of total forgiveness at all times, and condemnation for people who don’t do it, and that’s how they get away with their spiritual crimes

This is so totally sad as a person that’s been saved for 30 years I find more and more every day that there are millions and millions of mentally ill Christians and they got that way from Christianity
Hello @LarryLarpwell, I understand how you feel. I would like however to clarify an important point. It is not because of Christianity that people struggle mentally, but because we have an enemy of our soul, the devil, who roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, him we are instructed to resist in the faith (see 1 Peter 5:8). Also the Bible tells us to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us (see James 4:7). God loves us so much that He provided a way of escape from the devil’s works through repentance and faith in Jesus. But we do need to learn to wear and use the whole armor of God (see Ephesians 6:10-18). God, His Word, and His plan for salvation through faith in Jesus is not the reason why people are struggling. Now, there are many reasons why people could be going through rough times such as, things that happened to them in the past of which they need healing from God, legalism, guilt and condemnation, the weakness of our flesh, doubt and unbelief, pride, trying to live the Christian life in our own strength, unconfessed sins, disobedience, and/or a lack of knowledge; the Bible says that God's people perish because of lack of knowledge (see Hosea 4:6). I am naming a few reasons why people struggle, but there could be more reasons, of course. But again, the devil not only is the accuser of the brethren, but also the accuser of God. I pray this helps.
@@kathleenkaczmarek9190 Yeah, I understand what you’re saying completely but I’m telling you with 100% certainty that false religious doctrine and the implementation of that have tortured and ruined. Many peoples lives. There’s no getting around this fact.

Hi @LarryLarpwell, that is definitely true that false religious doctrines have caused much hurt and destruction to people, but I do not consider false doctrines as Christianity. :) As to your comment about hell, hell is not a doctrine, just like heaven is not a doctrine; rather, both are taught in the Bible. Is wearing pants if youre a woman, makeup or jewelry a sin? I feel like God will just send someone to hell for whatever he wants and likes to look for reasons to send a person to hell
Dear @Ginger flea mach, no, wearing pants, makeup or jewelry for a woman isn’t a sin. This is the belief that stem from legalism. And concerning what you wrote about your concern that God wants to find reasons to send people to hell; you are seeing God this way because you are experiencing Him under law. Legalism distorts and twists our view of God. God is thoroughly good. His mercy endures forever. God is love. When thoughts such as the ones you described come to you, it is important to find the scriptures that show the wrong of such thoughts and to meditate on those scriptures until you begin to believe them and see God properly. Scriptures such as: 2 Peter 3:9 Ezekiel 33:11 Romans 5:8 Romans 5:10 John 3:16-17 John 10:10 1 John 4:16 Romans 2:4 Psalm 100 Ephesians chapter 1, 2 and 3 Ephesians 3:16-21 Romans 8:31-39 1 Corinthians chapter 13 Etc… Ask the Lord to bring your way Bible verses that will really minister freedom and healing to you in these areas of confusion. I earnestly encourage you to go to God and share with Him openly and without holding anything back the thoughts that you have been having concerning Him, telling Him that you see Him as a mean and angry God, a God who searches for reasons to send people to hell. Then ask Him to heal your view and perception of Him. Jesus said that if we abide in His Word and His Word abides in us, we will know the truth and the truth will make us free (see John 8:31-32). Therefore, I encourage you to look up all the scriptures I listed above and whatever scriptures the Lord leads you to about God’s love and His goodness. Then study them and meditate on them. As you faithfully do that, your view of God will eventually align with the truth of the verses you are studying. Do not get discouraged, but allow for some time before you begin to see your view of God change along with your mind and belief system renewed. Little by little, your perception of God will be healed by His presence as you depend on Him to heal it, and by the truth of His Word as you persistently study the Word of God about God’s goodness, His love and the sound doctrine of grace. It will be important for you to ask Him to expose legalism for what it really is and to ask Him to purge your life from legalism. Ask Him to teach you legalism versus grace and ask Him to help you live your relationship with Him entirely under grace. Then trust Him to do just that. Cooperate with Him by looking up scriptures about the new covenant of grace, being saved by grace through faith, the finished work of the cross, the love of God, your identity in Christ and works versus faith. You can google for lists of scriptures on these topics and you will find such lists that way. Then study and meditate on the verses you find in order to see your mind and belief system renewed with the truth of God’s Word. Gradually as you persevere in prayer, in worshiping Him, in faith, in expectantly waiting on Him to heal you, and as you spend quality time studying Bible verses on the topics of need, your perception of God will change and you will also begin to learn to live under grace through faith instead of under law, guilt and condemnation.
