The issue you were having is it wasn’t grabbing the wire tight enough. You have to finger tighten the adjuster a little more and then it’ll fix your problem. One squeeze will cut it perfect then
Just what I was looking for. A video about how to use some wire strippers from some guy who never used wire strippers. Can't wait to see your video on how to do brain surgery.
Very good video, and sound advice. The +/- is for pressure on the grip for thiner insulation and stops cutting through thiner copper wires. Thank you from David, Northampton England.
Thank you, last month was rough lol maybe I'll share exactly what happened on a video. I'll definitely try some more expensive ones, if there something you have in mind I can definitely look into it
Ps I think with the wire you are using is coated for a specified wire not normal wire. David from Northampton. The first set off Jaws is only to hold and guide the wire the next set off Jaws is for striping the outer insulation.
At some moments this is almost a spoof video! Subscribed to get you closer to 1000. Where i live these chinese junk tools are pretty much the only choice.
a minute of waffle at the start (gotta get that 10 min vid i guess!) and then trying to show us how to use a tool that you dont know how to use lol yeah great vid!
confession time, i bought one of these at Harbor Freight.. no joke.. i have abused it for about 3 months, it works perfectly.. extremely surprised.!!! i was expecting failure..but not yet.. for Harbor freight.. i used 22 gage, to 12, 14, 10 .. no joke..it was 11 $
Three words to the wise - Preparation, preparation, preparation - It looks like you're winging it and finding out as you go. Not informative or trustworthy, IMHO. Cheap tool or cheap review... Sorry.

I’ve had these for 2 weeks and they are the best wire strippers I’ve ever used. Smooth and well made. They strip all wires like butter.
SO glad your back and feeling better! You have saved me in tools that don't work. Maybe go try the "more expensive" ones?
