This vehicle is good, you guys just didnt play it right. It looks a lot like the vk7501K, except without a huge cupola to hide, so it can sidescrape better. Its really easy to sidescrape properly too, just put ur gun over your tracks where the sponson still exists (exactly like the vk7501k)

I feel like this year the boxes are acctualy a good thing, no like op tanks or tanks that are broken at times. Its a good mix of tanks that can be good but acctualy require some skill to use and arent just rocket booster derps that someone can hop in and pretty much hold a intire flank alone in
The Tiger-Maus is balanced, yes, the turret armor is strong with 300mm and the upperplate is also very strong, however, the turret is not flat. U cant play it like a maus or you will overangle. The gun is very nice (E75) and the mobility is decent for its weight. Its a balanced tank with streghts and weaknesses, and you need to know how to use the armor. Good tank by WG!
You have to remember at the end of the day it is a Tiger II hull at tier 9 so don't expect to bounce anything in the hull when you're essentially in +1 all the time, the best bet is to play hulldown or just hide your lower plate behind a gravel pile and wedge your tank upwards slightly (but not recommended vs good players because they can just overmatch the underside of your skirts above the track). If you are hulldown and the enemies can pen your cheeks just angle your turret like you do in a Maus and you should be good (idk how big/easy to hit the cupola is so can't comment on that).
I like seeing the new tanks but more importantly, we need a full in depth look into the ARMT. Like, channel your inner quickybaby on that Tier V monster. Always amazing work form you guys and I look forward to the next.
I went for the T95 in the American tree.. It was supposed to be such a beast! I was so disappointed, that after 3 matches, I was killed all three times and never killed anything on the other side. Even 155MM gun, did not pen kill a single tank. And it's hyped to have such a high survivability... "3 hits and I was dead." The KV1 Shielded, took more hits with less damage, and did more damage with it's 76MM gun, than I ever got from the T95 with the 155MM gun. The T95 is ssssssslllllllooooowwwww... It barely gets away from the home cap circle before the enemy is targeting it. For the cost of ammo and other things, I lost credits with the T95, instead of making anything. After those 3 matches, I sold off the T95. The beast was an old dog, that wasn't fit to sit on the porch, and too big to hide beneath it. The T95 is a super heavy, super slow, super "NOT." But maybe the powers that be, at WOT have nurfed the T95 more than advertised?
6:55 Yes lower plate is weak but remember that this tank goes 32km which is 12km more than mauschen and it turns very fast. Turret armor is 300mm and this is 40mm more than maus ☠️☠️ and 60mm more than mauschen. You should've evaluated the tank better before coming to conclusion. In my opinion, it is a nice and balanced tank, it has both pros and cons compared to the mauschen.
We evaluated this tank the best we could with the little time Wargaming let us record and make this video before the embargo. It is balanced yes, but it's boring and not what we hoped for in a german super heavy.
If you want more context. I absolutely LOVE german super heavys. Mäuschen is one of my favorite tanks in the game. It's very bad, but it's very fun. I was really hoping for something similar with this vehicle: Bad but fun. But it seems WG wants to cater more to the hull down meta enjoyers with the turret armor and bad hull. This tank is not a traditional german super heavy like I know and love them for. /Zwhatsh

Sad that they nerfed the only thing that seemed fun about it, armor and gun. For example dispersion went from 0.35 to 0.37, and reload time went from 14.86s to 15.5s.

From everything I can see the lower plate is just as good as the others and the upper plate is far better.
lmao literally the only thing I want/care about is the skin for the Phase 1. The Japanese thing looks interesting but I wouldn't care if I get it or not since I only play the original 4 nations. "As strong as an ice block". Too bad ice can shatter really easy and, while having some resistance to impact over an area, easily gets damaged by sharper objects or point like forces. And ice melts over time so while it may not be that good while the ice is still fresh the tank will probably become worse over time when people have seen it for some time and the ice has been melting...

They shadow-nerfed it, upper plate got a 140mm strip on top, istead of 200mm all the way around, they decreased the lower plate armor thickess, they removed the 50mm sideskirts, like what the E100 has, they changed the turret armor, only the center of the cheecks has 300mm, not all the way around. WHAT A JOKE I was going to buy a couple of boxes just for this one. Not buying anything.
Worth noting that this tank has a weaker version of the E 100 hull (significantly worse than the Maus, so the lower plate is butter) but the turret cheeks are much stronger than the Maus. So it doesn't really play like the Maus (or so it seems). weirdburger tank

E75 is a very good tank. And E75 armor even weaker. You can pen the UFP easily with gold round. 285 mm turret, and very weak forehead against HEAT. Despite all that, E75 is still good.They both use the same gun. I don't know why Tiger-maus will be a bad tank.
I find it funny that whenever the engine sets on fire while you're playing it because it's incredibly accurate to real WW2 German vehicles. And it probably would've continued into their prototype super heavies because they never learned to make a reliable engine lmao. (I know there are exceptions, I'm just memeing)
Dude, its turret is great, even tanks on gold don't have guarranteed penetration (up to 330 pen.). Maus have only 260 mm, when that thing does have 300 mm, but yeah, Hull from tiger II ruins it. intensive sidescrap angle is required, but turret is placed back the hull, so it actually have a value, First premium tier IX tank worth money? (Also gun is the same as E75, that's why it's good).
I'd love to know where the ice block part is located because holy hell, this thing is bad as hell. Ed: It's as if WG gave this thing the same hull the Tiger 2 had before the buff. It reminds me of a stock Tiger 2 moved up to tier 9, which sucks.

True, there is some weird inconsistency in "defense" stats of this tank... perhaps because it actually has somewhat nice mobility and very good gun... then it has to pay with shitty a*s armor. I have been shooting much more gold with tiger-maus than with obj. 752 and still have 2330-dpg (only 16games) so far. While my obj. 752 has 2740-dpg (27 battles sample). While object supposed to be very shit, it's armor is actually amazing which alows me to deal significantly more damage even while i miss so many shells just because of ABYSSMAL gunhandling -> I can play more, while with tigermaus I'm already in garage.. Perhaps, because sample size of tiger-maus is small... but I doubt it will sky rocket... Meanwhile my Mäuschen has 2568-dpg (45battles sample) and about 100 more asistance than tiger-maus.
It is VK 75.01K t8 premium just on T9 with better stats but same garbage armor that can't bounce one tier lower guns. Its another german heavy light tank.
Yeah. The fact the BZ -176 was removed from the lootboxes is definitely a minus. There aren't really insane tanks this year in those diabolical boxes. Quite curious that the BZ was removed from the boxes, the list of leaked tanks fits exactly what we saw except that one, so I'm pretty sure it got scratched at the last moment out of fear of what the community might do.
They have never sold any premium tanks twice in a row in loot boxes. It's also been confirmed by Wargaming that they don't want to sell the tank (right now at least). They are very aware of its reputation in the community.@@juanjodpr
I don't know what you guys are on about at all, the armour is really good if you actually use it properly, rather than driving face-first into or even side-on to your enemies, like all the clips where you got penned multiple times...Sidescrape and angle the turret, it's an actual tier 9 Maus minus the HP.
We didn't have much time to test these new tanks. Short on time, tired and played during a x5 xp black friday event. Games were not good. We will try it out again when it goes live. But we cannot see how this thing would compete with the E75. That thing is a BEAST!
Why does Wargaming hate germany so much. Everytime they release a german premium it has either really dumb wekspots and a titanic lower plate e 75 ts for example or it is just overall a massiv turd

Hello Awesome and Epic guys. I did a little digging and found this spelling "Durchschlag Strafe" but in English it means Penalty, Penalty (not sure if this is really what is said). Im really struggling with the Mauschen, literally everything can pen the front of the turret, and if i turn to the turret to try and bounce they just shoot the massive tumor on top of it
Just seen one on Himmelsdorf, tier 7 game and it just melted 🤣, seems like the gun is really good though, he managed 3k damage, but the armour is nowhere near as good as the tier 9 VKs , which I was playing at the time.
if I get it , I will tell you both my oponion , but with my luck , I will not get it , and I will be happy , if I dont get that British wheeled tank , because thats one tank , what I really dont want , but last time I said "well I dont want STRV.81 , because I dont know , how to play medium tanks" and quess what , I got it XD
IMHO this tank is at least mediocre. It has decent mobility on typical Maus like tank. It has also very good looking gun. Armor can suck, but it is not paper at all. The only letdown in my eyes is number of HP, if it was like 2200+-, it would be much more enjoyable.
this tank is suposed to be played as a sidescrapper not like the pz7 which is how you played 90% of the video so even when the weakspots are big you are not exploiting the only strength the tank has
I tried sidescraping, it only worked when the enemies were very far away like on the clip at 2:12. When close up they would either pen the turret with premium or hit the weak cupola, or pen straight through the track.
wicked, i just got home from work, and now have 2 days off. Lets kick this off with watching some AEG shenanigans! Addendum, Although i consider myself thoroughly entertained, i would appear this tank is garbage. count me out of the lootboxes this year.

Sounds reasonable. But the hull is huge and very difficult to hide. The cupola is also very big.

While object supposed to be very shit, it's armor is actually amazing which alows me to deal significantly more damage even while i miss so many shells just because of ABYSSMAL gunhandling -> I can play more, while with tigermaus I'm already in garage.. Perhaps, because sample size of tiger-maus is small... but I doubt it will sky rocket...
Meanwhile my Mäuschen has 2568-dpg (45battles sample) and about 100 more asistance than tiger-maus.
I'm surprised mauschen got mentioned but not the VK B which is similar shape and plays much better and actually has strong lower plate too
It is VK 75.01K t8 premium just on T9 with better stats but same garbage armor that can't bounce one tier lower guns. Its another german heavy light tank.

Yeah. The fact the BZ -176 was removed from the lootboxes is definitely a minus. There aren't really insane tanks this year in those diabolical boxes. Quite curious that the BZ was removed from the boxes, the list of leaked tanks fits exactly what we saw except that one, so I'm pretty sure it got scratched at the last moment out of fear of what the community might do.
@juanjodpr Perhaps they finally realized what a bullshit tank the Bz is. Tier VIII was unplayable last year around that time
They have never sold any premium tanks twice in a row in loot boxes. It's also been confirmed by Wargaming that they don't want to sell the tank (right now at least). They are very aware of its reputation in the community.@@juanjodpr
The Skorpion pen in the beginning was pretty pog. Overtall the tank seems pretty meh. Nice with Zwhatsh game-view :)

I don't know what you guys are on about at all, the armour is really good if you actually use it properly, rather than driving face-first into or even side-on to your enemies, like all the clips where you got penned multiple times...Sidescrape and angle the turret, it's an actual tier 9 Maus minus the HP.

We didn't have much time to test these new tanks. Short on time, tired and played during a x5 xp black friday event. Games were not good. We will try it out again when it goes live. But we cannot see how this thing would compete with the E75. That thing is a BEAST!

Hello Awesome and Epic guys. I did a little digging and found this spelling "Durchschlag Strafe" but in English it means Penalty, Penalty (not sure if this is really what is said). It sounds the closest to what I heard that commander as well as you Edvin, say when you shoot and pen your target. Awesome and Epic Video as always. Keep it up!

Im really struggling with the Mauschen, literally everything can pen the front of the turret, and if i turn to the turret to try and bounce they just shoot the massive tumor on top of it
I play the Näuschen very aggressively, I often push and trade with it rather than rely on bouncing shells. /Zwhatsh
Just seen one on Himmelsdorf, tier 7 game and it just melted 🤣, seems like the gun is really good though, he managed 3k damage, but the armour is nowhere near as good as the tier 9 VKs , which I was playing at the time.
The gun is definitely the best aspect of the tank.

IMHO this tank is at least mediocre. It has decent mobility on typical Maus like tank. It has also very good looking gun. Armor can suck, but it is not paper at all. The only letdown in my eyes is number of HP, if it was like 2200+-, it would be much more enjoyable.

this tank is suposed to be played as a sidescrapper not like the pz7 which is how you played 90% of the video so even when the weakspots are big you are not exploiting the only strength the tank has
I tried sidescraping, it only worked when the enemies were very far away like on the clip at 2:12. When close up they would either pen the turret with premium or hit the weak cupola, or pen straight through the track.
