I always liked Super Buu dude was the only villain too post up next to an hour glass and wait for goten and trunks to fuse and on top of that dude screamed his way out the hyperbolic time chamber cause he wasn’t gonna be able to eat candy no more 😂
@@demetrioshilton6264 Cell is basically what would happen if Goku ever became evil. Like, holding a tournament, and giving everyone plenty of time to prepare so they can be as strong as possible? Doing everything you can to piss off Gohan because you heard he is holding back his true power, and you want to beat him at his full strength? That's all Goku's DNA talking.
I've always known, even without the official guide book, that Super Buu was the strongest form of Buu. Maybe not the most dangerous, but definitely the strongest. The fact that Goku even considered fusing with Hercule out of desperation shows just how much more powerful Super Buu was. Goku was willing to fight both Fat and Kid Buu with his SSJ3, but he didn't even consider that with Super Buu.
This is true and all but remember Goku and Vegeta wanted to fight Kid Buu as an unfused being cause Kid Buu was no longer a fused being himself, they thought it would be the fair thing to do and as a result of their saiyan pride,so Goku fighting Kid Buu as a SSJ3 doesn't mean he thought he could've beat him it was just that it was his most powerful unfused form at the time, and although Goku does claim he could've beat Kid Buu as a full powered SSJ3, that is also just Goku's ever so present weakness of being abit overconfident in a fight as Whis explains later in dragon ball super, but needless to say, Goku quickly realizes in the fight agaimst Kid buu that he may have underestimated Kid buu's power...
@@darrenj777 That's very valid. But you can't forget get how desperate he was to fuse against Buuhan. He was willing to fuse with Hercule of all people. Yes, his sense of fair play got the better of him against Kid Buu, I definitely agree with that. But he was willing to fight Kid Buu in the first place. That speaks volumes by itself. Yeah, he bit off more than he could chew, but he thought he at least stood a chance, unlike with Buuhan where he knew without a doubt that he'd loose. One would have to be facing the absolute worse case scenario to consider fusing with just a normal, if slightly above average, human with no ki abilities. That would have likely hurt more than help.
Very disingenuous argument. Super Buu is not the same as Buutenks or Buuhan. By that logic Goku was certain he or Gohan could beat Super Buu once Gotenks defused. Obviously Super Buu + Gotenks & Gohan is stronger than Fat Buu
Kid buu was the strongest. He just heavily suppressed his power the same way Goku does to the point it even fooled him. That’s say evil does fool you into thinking it ain’t that bad when it’s much much worse. Kid buu was the ultimate
@@Cloud987600 Not exactly. During Kid Buu's fights with the Supreme Kais, he was getting pushed back by the big one with the sword (forgot which one that was.) Kid Buu realized he could absorb him and add that strength to his own. That created the original Super Buu who then went on to absorb the Grand Supreme Kai and become Fat Buu. What made Kid Buu more dangerous was his disregard of everything. He didn't care how much damage he took sinxe he'd regenerate, even when blowing up the planet he is standing on. After absorbing the Kai's, Buu got some restraint wether intentional or not. The overall gentle natures of the Kai's made him less of a force of destruction than Kid Buu was originally. Yes, he was still deadly, but now he could form goals of his own and not just destroy for the sake of it. That's evidenced when Super Buu went to the lookout to fight the "strong guy" that Goku told him about. Fat Buu just wanted to eat and have fun, Super Buu wanted to eat and fight someone challenging. After Super Buu "absorbed" Vegito, he went looking for food, not to blow stuff up. He won the fight, he thought, so he went to do what he wanted to do. He might have after he ate everything in the whole world then moved on, but we'll never know since he didn't get the chance. Kid Buu would have finished the fight then blown up the planet without any regard. That's what makes him so dangerous. He exists only to kill and destroy. That doesn't make him stronger, just more dangerous.
i think it was the budokai tenkaichi games where its stated in buus character bio that kid buu was weaker than super buu in terms of pure power but because he was a mass of destructive impulses without restraints he was far more dangerous. super buu while thinking nothing of destruction and killing things was still rational enough to hold back by using the intelect absorbed from the kaioshins while kid buu only wants to destroy.
I always just looked at it as super buu base is adult kid buu. He's much stronger as an adult and can restrain himself better. Where's a kid is weaker and far more impulsive.
Kid Buu is the most dangerous form of Buu due to his completely unpredictable nature. Maybe he'll blow up the planet or maybe he'll just fall asleep. He's like a toddler who can do things but really can't comprehend or care about what his actions end causing. All he knows is that he wants to fight and destroy, so he does them. Super Buu, on the other hand, really just wants to bask in being the strongest being in existence. He wants strong opponents so he can have some fun and beat them down after awhile. Sure, he'll destroy and kill but only after he proves he's better than his opponents. He has reason and intellect which results in him having an actual ego. Also, CHOCOLATE!
There's no denying that Super Buu was superior to Fat Buu in practice. The debate is 'on paper'. Basically, the argument is if the creature known as Majin Buu *gained* power, or did they have the same exact raw potential with Fat Buu being handicapped compared to Super Buu.
Buddy everyone knows that. Fat buu lost to evil buu, and after that evil buu ate him and Got his all Powers. So its logic that super buu is stronger. Everyone knows that
The fact that there are people that actually believe Kid Buu is stronger than Buuhan makes you not want to take any powerscaling in the dragonball community seriously lol
While I know it's filler, I disagree with your statement that Goku fighting Kid Buu in SSJ2 was pointless. The SSJ2 battle gave Goku the change to feel Kid Buu out and get a idea of how this new version of Buu fights. That way when he goes SSJ3 he wouldn't be wasting any of his limited time in that form just getting to understand Kid Buu.
That would be true of not for the fact that goku was surprised he couldn’t withstand ssj3 when he starts accumulating ki to one shot kid buu prior to that he didn’t knew the form was this demanding on his stamina
I always assumed Super buu was stronger than kid buu. It made sense that even at the end of Z Gohan was objectively the strongest fighter being able to trivialize super buu with minimal difficulty while it took Goku and Vegeta to take Kid buu.
Just based on Goku's behavior towards Buu's forms, it's obvious Super Buu was way stronger. Goku at least thinks he can defeat Fat and Pure Buu if he goes all out from the start, yet Goku wants absolutely ZERO smoke with Super Buu, claiming he and Vegeta would get slaughtered without Fusion.
Yes Gohan is the strongest unfused fighter at the end of Z including The Buu form's him and Vegito is the strongest fused fighter no Goku no Kid Buu I don't know why it's so complicated to know who's the strongest this comment right her shows you that Super Buu is the strongest form of Buu period!
I mean, the whole reason Super Buu is stronger than Fat Buu is because Dai Kaio’s influence was weakening Buu. Super Buu somehow bypassed this (maybe being too evil) and now can access the power of all the kais he had absorbed before. He’s AT LEAST roughly 2x manga kid Buu as South Supreme Kai was roughly on par with Kid Buu. He’s probably even higher, though, as the Grand Supreme Kai SERIOUSLY messed up Buu, South Kai absorbed.
I think the reason Super Buu is so strong is a combination of him being unhinged and because he’s a merger of the Good and Evil Buu. Whereas Kid Buu is simply Buu’s inner nature. In my personal opinion Good Buu isn’t any weaker than he was before Evil Buu formed, but rather Evil Buu awakened from the dormant power of Fat Buu. I can’t really prove that, but either way it makes sense that Super Buu is the strongest because he found a way to turn his absorption ability from a weakness into a weapon.
Gray buu is all the evil from the Kai’s being expelled including his own inner evil that’s why he’s so strong super explains it better basically the evil power refuses with buu but in his own image of power, check the design closer to kid buu but it’s own unique way more humanoid
The change in Boos Ki wasn't just an increase it was a change in nature, Fat Boo was strong but he still used ordinary Ki just a lot of it. But when Evil Boo was born it uses Jaki which basically translates to Malicious Ki and when he absorbs the Good Boo Evil Boo is the one in control so it didn't just enhance it's Ki but changed it's very foundation, all Demon King's and Demon God's use Jaki that was the main react his power increased his source of power changed. Other examples would be Dabura in the original and in Super the legendary Saiyans also known as Demonic Saiyans.
It didn't actually weaken Fat Buu. It's less literal, it weakened him by making him fat and lazy so he never was exerting his full power. When he became Super Buu, he had the same power but was using it with much more intent and purpose, which is what made him stronger.
Base super Buu is when fat Buu spits out evil Buu and then evil Buu absorbs fat Buu. Gohan face rolls him. It is stated by Goku and Vegeta that kid buu's power level increased after they pulled fat buu, the kids, piccolo, AND Gohan out of him. It is stated In the manga that kid Buu far outstrips buuhan.
There's also the fact that Goku was ready to permanently fuse with Hercule because he felt 0 confidence in challenging Gohan-Boo. The same Goku crushed the Potara and fought Kid Boo without any form of Fusion. Kid Boo has the "last boss" thing going for him, but that's about it.
@@bobjohnson1633 I actually remember the exact part of the manga you’re referencing. It’s at the end of Chapter 313. Goku was shocked that Buu’s power was increasing after they got out of his body. And then in the next chapter, Old Kai asks Kibito-Kai if Kid Buu is “the most difficult one” and he (Kibito-Kai) confirms it. But I think Goku’s confidence by telling Vegeta that he may not get a turn to fight Buu is where there’s the most confirmation that Super Buu is the strongest. Super Buu is the one version of Buu that he scaled to be much stronger than him. He knew he could beat Fat Buu and at least hold his own against Kid Buu.
Super Buu in recent times has really begun growing on me, so it will be intriguing to see if there are details on his power that I might not have been aware of beforehand.
Goku was open to fighting Fat Buu and Kid Buu 1 on 1 as a SSJ3, he didn’t even consider doing that with Super Buu even when his absorptions were taken out and he had Vegeta with him and knew they needed to fusion to stand a chance. That’s really all the proof you need to show that Super Buu even without Gotenks or Gohan is the strongest buu.
Pure Evil buu was the raw energy of Majin Buu manifested, in other words it's the same power level as Kid Buu while the other Buu, Good Buu is left with just Kaio-shin energy which probably got weakened by the evil inside trying to break out no matter what, plus the fact that's not his/somewhat incompatible with his true nature. So mix that two together and you get Super Buu, whom was bypassing the influence of the Kaio-shin through Good Buu's assimilation.
Ohhh I get it based on what your saying. Great synop because Fat Buu is more off from Buu’s original form. While Super Buu was the truly terrifying power. Kid Buu just being a by product of..what exactly?
@@demetrioshilton6264 Pure Chaos. Kid Buu (as far as I know) is some avatar made of Chaos, well more like a Golem animated with raw destructive and wild energy that Bibidi (or perhaps Moro?) managed to put together as a weapon against the Kaio-shin.
Basically; The being, Majin Buu, had the same amount of *raw power* between Super and Innocent forms. Innocent Buu, however, was handicapped by Grand Supreme Kai's presence. Using early Dragonball mechanics, it's basically like having weighted clothing on, albeit without the training benefit. Super Buu, who has otherwise been called Evil Buu or "Majin Buu (Aku)" in Japanese and is not to be confused with the grey "Majin Buu (Junsui Aku)" or Pure Evil Buu, is Majin Buu without the metaphorical weighted clothes. Pure Majin Buu/Kid Buu is *ever so slightly* weaker than Super Buu is, but is stronger than he originally was before he absorbed the kais. This is because, as the Moro Saga confirms, Pure Buu retained the lion's share of Grand Supreme Kai and by extension South Supreme Kai's godly power, the leftover essence that comprised of their respective identities went to Good Buu, who is overall the weakest of the Majin Buu line.
I think this is probably the most complete understanding of the Buus. I've argued that the difference between Innocent Buu and Super Buu is akin to Ginyu Goku and Namek Goku. They have the exact same power but Ginyu can't access it as efficiently
Bro...god ki is trash and most of the other fighters in the tournament have attained power beyond ssjblue without it. Let's just pretend the moro arc is non canon till it's animated.
This brings me back some two and a half decades ago when I had to explain to my friends how Super Buu was actually stronger than Kid Buu and Fat Buu. Internet wasn’t such a huge place back then. 😂
Well you've been right the entire time it's pretty obvious if you ask me I go through the same thing! Even in base he's stronger this video explains why beautifully.
@@khi7086 Dragonball Z been out a LONG time my friend 😂. Remember, even if you were 10 years old explaining this in 1998, you'd be well in your 30s by now
This is something my friends and I have been saying for years. The fact that Super Buu had Majin Buu inside him whereas Kid Buu didn't I think makes Super Buu stronger
Always saw that version as the strongest state of buu before he absorbed anyone he’s clearly stronger than kid buu as the idea of fighting him even with ssj3 shook goku
I don't quite know how to explain it, but given the fact that Fatbuu has a pod like all the other characters in Buu's head. I think the key to Super Buu and why his form is different than the prior 2 is that, by all accounts Evil Buu *Absorbed* Good Buu via the Candy Beam. At that point Super Buu took on the appearance of Good Buu like he takes on the visual characteristics of everyone else he absorbs. By absorbing Good Buu and using him as an intact entity to power him along the lines of how the other fighters will become, he can some how make use of Good Buu's power in a more optimized way, without the conlficting mindset that Fat Buu was having. At least that's how I think it works along those lines.
People that want to make kid buu the strongest version of buu are only doing it because they want Goku to be the strongest non fused character in the buu arc.
@Devil Mario Productions Think of it like, Fat buu, a singular entity with his evil inside had 10 power, when evil buu came around it was split between fat buu's 4,5 and evil buu's 5,5. When evil buu absorbed fat buu, however it was two different beings, therefore it had a gigantic power up. Instead of adding one to the other its like multiplying. Obviously not exactly like that but that pretty much sums it up
Why did people think Super Buu wasn’t stronger than Fat Buu? Goku was sure SSJ Gotenks could beat Fat Buu but, after training in the hyperbolic time chamber, he still had to go SSJ 3 to match Super Buu. Drastically stronger and much stronger than Kid Buu, since he’s radically above Goku. The most you could maybe argue is Fat Buu’s potential power when enraged and uses all of his evil, but Super Buu is still given a far more capable body for combat.
I've always looked at it this way; Super Buu is the level of power Fat Buu COULD'VE eventually reached at some point after his release from his hibernation. Why? Well, Old Kai said the Kais being absorbed into the OG Buu (Kid Buu who became Buff then Fat Buu) pacified his power. Their goodness and kind nature (maybe even godly/divine ki) had a way of calming the raging beast of evil inside, mainly due to the Grand Supreme Kai's influence. Remember how after Buu's seal was broken and he emerged in front of Gohan, Shin, Dabura and Babidi leading into his first few battles that it was constantly stated by Kibito and others that Buu's power either felt like a bottomless pit and/or it just keeps getting stronger and stronger. The best example is during the duel with SS3 Goku when I believe Goku, Piccolo and King Kai at different points in the fight stated that the more power Goku generates to raise his overall power level; Buu matches it! Overall, Super Buu was WAY more powerful than Fat Buu (who eventually became Good Buu after he split from his Evil Buu persona) if you look at some numbers lol and no I'm not gonna list out billion or trillion power levels: Let's say SS3 Goku and SS Gotenks (pre-Time Chamber) were more or less equals. That would put them above Fat Buu (before he split into good/evil Buus) based on Goku's statements about how IF he tried to take Buu out when he had the chance at SS3 then he could've done it. Post-Time Chamber training (which was about 2 weeks), Goten & Trunks got stronger, but we never found out exactly how much. I'll say this much, SS3 Gotenks and Super Buu were around the same power. Even Goten said that they were more or less around the same power when they were chatting it up with Gohan after Buu self-destructed. So, SS3 is 8x the power of SS1. That means Gotenks needed the 8x boost from his SS1 form to match Super Buu's power. As stated, we don't know how much stronger the boys got from their 2 weeks in the time chamber. However, we can at least lowball the final numbers to being Super Buu & SS3 Gotenks AT LEAST being 8x times stronger than SS3 Goku, Fat Buu & SS1 Gotenks (pre-Time Chamber). Basically, Super Buu is bare minimum 8x stronger than the Fat Buu before he himself split into two. So, Evil Buu eating his good self and taking over personality wise was the best thing he could've done haha he let the evil/destructive nature that the Kais pacified right back to the surface so his true power could reemerge!
I’d love to see a What If on what would have happened if there was no heart medicine for Goku but Trunks still went back in time. Seems like one of those that could have some pretty interesting implications.
@@kulo4912 No, Goku and vegeta said he got weaker and turned confident when he fully transformed into kid buu when moments ago goku stated him and vegeta together didn't stand a chance against base super buu
Super Buu, with or without the absorbed Z fighters, is the strongest form of Buu. Goku confirmed as much saying he wouldn't stand a chance against him after he and Vegeta were absorbed, whereas SS3 Goku could keep Kid Buu at bay until he ran out of ki. Kid Buu is not quite as strong as Super Buu due to losing everyone he absorbed, but he is far more dangerous due to his unpredictability and reservoir of power. And if you think about it critically, it makes sense - Super Buu has all the power of the Grand Kai, but with much less of his influence controlling his actions than Fat Buu. Kid Buu has none of that influence, but also has none of that power to draw on.
Apparently thanks to the Moro arc, some of the Grand Supreme Kai godlike Ki stayed with Kid Buu as it explains how Uub has some as the reincarnation of Kid Buu.
@@jkrunch2166 not exactly. Super Buu literally has the Grand Supreme Kai absorbed in him and had all of the power, Kid Buu had just traces of him left. The majority of that power is in Good Buu.
no i dont think so. Kid buu is stronger than regular super buu, but super buu with gotenks or gohan absorbed is stronger. Goku's statements about not standing a chance are only relevant to super buu after he absorbed gotenks and Gohan
I feel like super buu rivaling a freaking fused SS3 is insane. I don't know much about power level but I assume a Super Saiyan 3 with a fusion multipliers got to be insane
Super Buu in my mind was evil Buu with fat Buu absorbed. So he was the more powerful version of Buu and then ate back his magic abilities but shut out fat buus personality. So even tho he is the same beings fused it is a different form of fusion than I think is explained in the series being when Buu absorbed someone he takes their powers and gets rid of their consciousness so whichever Buu is in control gets the boost. So since we meet fat Buu initially he is weaker because he is fat Buu with evil Buu being "unconscious" but absorbed, once he stopped being evil, evil Buu took control, super Buu is just evil Buu but with fat Buu absorbed
What if they fused with Metamora fusion? What if tien or piccolo split himself into 4 and then the 2 pairs fused with the dance and then the 2 new fusions fused with the dance? Would that new individual be WAYYY stronger?
Fat Buu was like when Ginyu took over Goku's body: he had the strength and potential, but didn't know how to use it so they were very limited in how much power they could use. It's pretty much Super Buu's intelligence that allowed him to be so powerful, which he had obtained from the Kais he had absorbed since once fat Boo was removed from him he also lost all of the Kai influence within him causing him to lose all the power and intellect the had obtained from them reducing him to his kid Buu form
I want to apologize if I sounded somewhat ungrateful when I commented in your video about evil buu and why he transformed into kid buu or his original form. I also want to add that the skinny form is definitely the coolest form, because he's so F@#'n scary. Not only have we only seen a happy somewhat cute blob of destruction up until that point, which to me seems great since we start with an unassuming monster who still proves dangerous, but then we see more true horror and that Boo fulfills his title as an evil monster. Sorry about my bad writing but what I'm saying that not only is this the first actually scary Boo we see, but he's scarier than all the forms that follow, and if I may speculate quite frankly hes the scariest villain EVER. At least how appearances go(and in the Funimation version the music is also very creepy for all the evil forms too) yes I know there are darker stories in horror films, but just look at the skinny Boo. Greyish, emaciated, and those eyes, MY GOODNESS those freaky EYES! Interestingly while his eyes appear to be sunken in like this, we later see(at least in the anime) the whites turn red when he is later transformed and fighting Gotenks. Did anyone else notice that(before DBKai) right when Boo tells Gotenks to hit him in his face and not lower on his body, once Boo bounces back from that hit, that's when the whites of his eyes become red from then on. Which means the whites were not his actual eyes(it would seem) but they are now his irises(still doesn't explain his fat form or even the skinny one) and the black parts are now the sclera or whites of his eyes. Finally, Freeza, Cell and even Vegeta started out somewhat creepy, even before getting more terrifying but Boo(although still big) was possibly the most unassuming of all, only to turn out the most horrifying.
What’s really annoying is the ppl that keep saying kid buu is stronger super buu. or even his fused counterparts like bro y’all can’t be that slow smh 🤦♂️
Goku said he’s no match for Super buu. He more or less said the same thing about Kid buu, who he already said was stronger when they pulled out good buu and said his power was increasing. Two times Goku said he can’t win - When Buu is blowing up the earth. When Goku fights kid buu for the first time and admitted he acted cocky and should have fused. Goku thinks Gohan AND Gotenks would he needed to fight when Goku by himself thought he could gather enough ki to take him out. I’m not denying that Gohan is stronger than Goku. He’s half Saiyan and his elder Kai unlock boosted his power into the realm of a SSJ3 to say the least but without the limitations. One could argue that Goku wasn’t accounting for a flawless SSJ3 without the limitations when he said he can’t beat regular Super buu especially when you relate that moment to his future conclusions with Kid buu. Goku didn’t consider SSJ3 a suitable option when compared to fusion because of its excessive ki drainage. That’s why he pretty much ignored it after Fat buu up until Kid buu. He even says he has to go full power right from the start in the manga. The fight proved one sided with Kid buu not losing any ki and toying with him. His plan was to gather his ki into a concentrated one minute charge which would then go beyond his limits.
Goku was talking shit. He at no point ever had enough power to destroy kid Buu. Maybe if he blew his self up....MAYBE. But there's a 90% chance l kid Buu would have survived. Goku would be on king kais planet waking up with a halo while kid Buu would get there a second layer and start beating his ass again.
The change in Boos Ki wasn't just an increase it was a change in nature, Fat Boo was strong but he still used ordinary Ki just a lot of it. But when Evil Boo was born it uses Jaki which basically translates to Malicious Ki and when he absorbs the Good Boo Evil Boo is the one in control so it didn't just enhance it's Ki but changed it's very foundation, all Demon King's and Demon God's use Jaki Other examples would be Dabura in the original and in Super the legendary Saiyans also known as Demonic Saiyans.
Because it is. Literally has the power of super Buu and Ultimate Gohan I mean I don’t understand why people still debate this for years. That’s the thing that sucked in the dbz finale that Goku and Vegeta fought a weaker version of Buu just to make Goku and Vegeta the heroes this time since Super Buu’s power were way out of their league
Alot of subtle information can be lost in the translation. Original prints of the manga and even in Westwood anime dub (aired in UK, Canada) stated that kid buu was the “strongest” buu. But recent prints by viz have made changes to its narrative by saying the most “destructive”. A lot of peoples interpretations stem from which translation they read and in which era. You’ll find a lot of people who say this probably watched the Westwood dub of DBZ when it aired on toonami or caught up by finding fan translated Japanese episodes from shareware programs (along with all the 90’s/00’s viruses lol)
If we focus on Goku-related statements throughout the arc, Goku’s charged up ssj3 is very likely far stronger than the ssj3 he had been using to fight, barring the initial showcase considering Piccolo’s thoughts then and later on, despite Goku’s fatigue This would help buy into the v jump about Buu gaining ssj3 Goku’s power while making it very clear Gohan was objectively better off while Gotenks doesn’t used a charged up version
People seem to think more dangerous because he’s more wild and has no reasoning ability means he’s more powerful. Same kind of flawed logic as “So and so can beat so and so because they are willing to kill.”
No. That just the justification. Kid Buu is functionally more powerful, faster, has far higher levels of endurance, has his healing to the point where a small dust cloud is enough to bring him back, has the ability to grant his own wishes/true magic, and is the best fighter in the series. No version of Buu is that broken. Supreme Kai was right to shit himself in horror. He saw first hand what that thing could do and how powerless even the gods were against it. If that thing got into the tournament of power it would have been a horror show.
It's been shown time and time again emotion alters fighting power. it can increase it exponentially but if you're not in control emotionally the energy is out of control, unfocused and will tire you out rather than being of any good to you. It's like the difference between a hose and then putting a nosel on it. The amount of water is the same but the nosel makes the stream more concentrated and effective. Earliest examples are Gohan in the Radditz fight when his anger is focused directly at Radditz making it effective. Nappa grows more and more powerful through his fight with Goku out of rage, but Goku outclasses him so much that he grows unfocused so the power isn't as useful. Vegeta even warns him of such. Wrath Buu is the power of Fat Buu focused in the way that Goku focused his wrath when he went SSj so it's one of the ways that it's internally consistent imo. Buu also doesn't follow the normal rules of fusion/division, which makes some sort of sense considering what he is, it seems like when he divided he was actually two wholes rather than a divided part so when Wrath Buu absorbed him he became more than the sum of the parts.
I don't know how people figure that Buu with a good number of the cast members absorbed is somehow weaker than Buu with no one absorbed. That just doesn't make sense. Even when it was pointed out that Buu becoming fat made him more docile, it was never said he got weaker.
@@incognit01233 Despite looking the same, the Fat Buu that fights Gohan and the Fat Buu that fights Kid Buu are different. The Fat Buu at the start of the arc still is hooked up to Kid Buu, so he has a lot more power. The version that gets spit out at the end of the arc is significantly weaker because it's just the good part of Buu detached from the main power source. It's why Buu never has anywhere near as impressive of a showing after the Buu Arc and is significantly lazier. You'll notice a lot of sites will distinguish between them by calling the one at the start of the arc "Fat Buu" and the one at the end of the arc "Good Buu".
I dont know how anyone in their right minds could think kid buu was as strong as super buu. We literally see multiple times buu absorbing people and getting stronger. If all of those parts were taken out of super buu, including fat buu, resulting in kid buu. How could you logically arive at the conclusion that kid buu is as strong as super buu? How?
Super Buu is just a little over fat buu??? ANYONE who has stated that clearly hasn't watch the show enough. Goku and Vegeta had to fuse to gain control in the fight with Super buu...yet both could stay alive/hold their own against kid buu.
The constant translation from Japanese to English is where alot of confusion comes from, especially with the manga and anime seemingly both being translated differently. Kid Buu/Original Buu is not the strongest, it is stronger than Fat Buu but quite a bit weaker than Super Buu or any of his absorbed forms. Good Buu > Evil Buu > Fat Buu > Kid Buu > Super Buu > Super Buu + Trunk, Goten & Piccolo Absorbed > Buu + South Kai > Super Buu + Gotenks & Piccolo > Super Buu + Gohan, Trunks, Goten & Piccolo
Super Buu was the most powerful form expecially once he absorbed powerful fighters, the reason why kid/original Buu is a thing is because it's Buu without any influence No one absorbed, mindness and whole but that makes him weaker as well He just seemed stronger because he lacked the tact or care for holding back
This could've been just started as whatever u call evil boo was Majin boo split into 2 equal power wills of the same power as the mixed boo. This evil boo who was the same power as Majin boo mixed then absorbed Majin Boo food will gaining his powers but keeping control of the will...
I agree 100% bass super boo is stronger than Kid Boo I don’t know why people are still saying that Kid Buu is the strongest which makes no sense he could be the fastest and most dangerous but not the strongest
I feel in the anime him fighting as a SSJ2 makes sense cause he knows his full power is what he would want to use but he wants to test the waters and see how kid buu fights before going all out so he can anticipate his moves better idk that’s how I saw it as a kid at least from the years Goku has had fighting he would know to wanna see what he’s fighting against before full power to know how to approach the fight
@@KenyionDouglas He literally didn’t . It’s not HIS fault you dumbasses are idiots and can’t see the Super manga was talking about Buu as a whole, not specifically Kid Buu. Which is Toyotaro anyway, not AT.
Unrelated, but were the future androids actually weaker, or did Trunks not realize how much they were holding back when he made that statement in the past?
Truth. After absorbing the South & Grand Supreme Kais, Majin Buu was significantly more powerful, it's just that Fat Buu was too benevolent to really use that power. Super Buu is the version of Fat Buu when the evil side takes over, allowing him to showcase how strong he really is. South Supreme Kai on his own was as strong as Kid Buu, both matching SSJ3 in terms of power, with Grand Supreme Kai being far stronger than that. You start to realize how terrifying Fat Buu really was. Goku stood no chance.
I am surprised than anyone thought Fat Buu was as strong as Super Buu. However there are two points related to Goku that I think can be pondered: Goku stated the hypothetical fusion of Goten and Trunks would be stronger than him. Goku also stated at that time he couldn’t defeat Fat Buu. If he is pushing the fusion of these two characters would he say they may not be as strong as him or that he could actually defeat Fat Buu? Furthermore, Goku states when Piccolo asks him about using the Room of Spirit and Time that it can be used later. On Supreme Kai plant the only two times they sensed ki when not paying attention was SSJ3 Goku and Super Buu. But Goku is either weaker than Fat Buu meaning they should be able to sense his Ki all along and Super Buu transformation isn’t telling of anything or the more likely to me scenario that SSJ3 Goku was stronger than Fat Buu meaning that Goku and Super Buu have comparable feats.
no he doesn't, he was weaker than super buu, ssj3 was only useful in two non canonical movies even if he had the regular ssj he still would of lost, Buu is simply not possible to get rid of even with a bigger kameha wave, vegeta blowing up proved that.
@@Majin_God_Vegeta Sorry I am not really understanding your comment. The mention of movies doesn’t seem to be related to anything I posted and Gotenks was about to blast Buu away. Vegita stated Goku could defeat kid Buu assumably by blasting with a ki attack given how that’s the only way to defeat him so again not sure what Vegita blowing up proves or is relevant

@@constantinus719 exactly. Filler contradicts the strength and behavior of the characters which is why many don't include it in these discussions.

@@kulo4912 Who said it/where was this stated because every source I've checked, context, and logic says Kid buu is weaker.
@@kronos1794 goku did chapter 313 page 13 on viz and what are your sources
Or it could be that Fat Buu was not using all of his power he was holding back. Fat Buu=Super Buu=kid Buu
It didn't actually weaken Fat Buu. It's less literal, it weakened him by making him fat and lazy so he never was exerting his full power. When he became Super Buu, he had the same power but was using it with much more intent and purpose, which is what made him stronger.
I don't get how people can think that kid Buu was stronger then any version of super Buu when it took Super Vegito to embarrassed Buuhan
@@bobjohnson1633 Thats a loud of crap
There's also the fact that Goku was ready to permanently fuse with Hercule because he felt 0 confidence in challenging Gohan-Boo. The same Goku crushed the Potara and fought Kid Boo without any form of Fusion. Kid Boo has the "last boss" thing going for him, but that's about it.
@@bobjohnson1633 that is NEVER stated anywhere

This content takes me back. I love the original manga. Awesome video
Basically;
The being, Majin Buu, had the same amount of *raw power* between Super and Innocent forms.

0:55 ive seen the matrix so many times i could recite dialogue from each one of those colors

Super Buu was the only version of Buu Goku was Scared to fight.
He was terrified of kid Buu but had no choice. No one to depend on, nowhere to hide. Earth was gone. He was terrified and had more reason to fight.
Super Buu is definitely the strongest. The anime just messes it up by adding those lines about Kid Buu being the strongest
Overall, Super Buu was WAY more powerful than Fat Buu (who eventually became Good Buu after he split from his Evil Buu persona) if you look at some numbers lol and no I'm not gonna list out billion or trillion power levels:
Let's say SS3 Goku and SS Gotenks (pre-Time Chamber) were more or less equals.
Honestly a lot of things could play out similarly but I'm not so honestly sure how things would play out with certain parts of the android + buu sagas

Human extinction attack will always be my favorite move from the series
Great perspective keep em coming👍🏿👍🏿

I wish we got to see Grey Buu fight the z fighters.
This serves only to point how mystic Gohan is underrated, he dominated the whole fight like Vegeto did.

But when Evil Boo was born it uses Jaki which basically translates to Malicious Ki and when he absorbs the Good Boo Evil Boo is the one in control so it didn't just enhance it's Ki but changed it's very foundation, all Demon King's and Demon God's use Jaki
Other examples would be Dabura in the original and in Super the legendary Saiyans also known as Demonic Saiyans.
Also you could compare this to like King Piccolo when he split from kami but King Piccolo had an edge over kami and would continue to grow stronger
There's an official magazine showing dbz characters' power level.
Super buu's intellect also comes from the south supreme kai. This is how he outsmart gohan before the absorption
I had always interpreted it as super Gohan Buu being the strongest state that we ever see Buu
Gotenks honestly wasn't really that strong he just clowned around
Alot of subtle information can be lost in the translation. Original prints of the manga and even in Westwood anime dub (aired in UK, Canada) stated that kid buu was the “strongest” buu. But recent prints by viz have made changes to its narrative by saying the most “destructive”. A lot of peoples interpretations stem from which translation they read and in which era. You’ll find a lot of people who say this probably watched the Westwood dub of DBZ when it aired on toonami or caught up by finding fan translated Japanese episodes from shareware programs (along with all the 90’s/00’s viruses lol)
Whenever i hear you say "hey guys it's mike" my mind goes "Poketips mike!" 🤣
In terms of power levels I usually place
Super Buu: 400 billion
Kid Buu: 60 billion
He has the power of the South Supreme Kai and the Dai Kaioshen without the restraint end of story.
If we focus on Goku-related statements throughout the arc, Goku’s charged up ssj3 is very likely far stronger than the ssj3 he had been using to fight, barring the initial showcase considering Piccolo’s thoughts then and later on, despite Goku’s fatigue
This would help buy into the v jump about Buu gaining ssj3 Goku’s power while making it very clear Gohan was objectively better off while Gotenks doesn’t used a charged up version
It's so weird how you only have 100k when other people doing the same thing (but not as entertaining or relaxing) have way more.
Anybody else miss Blackenfist thanks to this video?
The fact that the selling point of the art being a conversation starter is a real reason why I’d get art lmao just to talk about it
Kid buu just wants carnage and super buu is the more logical buu where he has a train of thought
People seem to think more dangerous because he’s more wild and has no reasoning ability means he’s more powerful.
Same kind of flawed logic as
“So and so can beat so and so because they are willing to kill.”
That art piece looks like interstellar
Can you make a video on how strong a hypothetical adult or teen gotenks would’ve been if dragon ball superhero when done correctly?
Kid Buu beat the breaks off of fat Buu.
The only thing fat Buu was able to do was make kid Buu momentarily tired from beating him like a punching bag.
@@TheAzulmagia He still has the exact same power level. He just lacks the innate magic powers of kid buu.
"Good Buu" is = Fat Buu
He's just trash.
Also its believed that Super Buu is around 3 times stronger than Fat Buu and Kid Buu is about 60% as strong as Kid Buu
Your signs are pointing the opposite way for the point you're trying to make.
@@andrewsigler7114 you are right I didn't actually think of them as greater than signs when doing it and instead arrows 😂
Super Buu was the most powerful form expecially once he absorbed powerful fighters, the reason why kid/original Buu is a thing is because it's Buu without any influence
No one absorbed, mindness and whole but that makes him weaker as well
He just seemed stronger because he lacked the tact or care for holding back
This could've been just started as whatever u call evil boo was Majin boo split into 2 equal power wills of the same power as the mixed boo. This evil boo who was the same power as Majin boo mixed then absorbed Majin Boo food will gaining his powers but keeping control of the will...
Yeah, is highly intelligent
Uh yeah is this going to be on the test 😂😂😂
Always drove me crazy when I was younger. That and ultimate gohan slaps ss3 goku and kid buu.
Buuhan jobbed so hard that people think he's weaker than Kid Buu💀
buuhan dog walked goku and vegeta at the same time
Just curious if an other evil villain wish for evil buu back to life
I agree 100% bass super boo is stronger than Kid Boo I don’t know why people are still saying that Kid Buu is the strongest which makes no sense he could be the fastest and most dangerous but not the strongest
Super Buu is hundreds of times stronger than Kid Buu
Nope Toriyama confirmed Kid Buu is the strongest Buu
@@KenyionDouglas
He literally didn’t . It’s not HIS fault you dumbasses are idiots and can’t see the Super manga was talking about Buu as a whole, not specifically Kid Buu. Which is Toyotaro anyway, not AT.
But how do we eat candy??
Lmao missed opportunity fam
Unrelated, but were the future androids actually weaker, or did Trunks not realize how much they were holding back when he made that statement in the past?
Buu is my favorit person
How strong could a quarter-human saiyan be? One parent sayian, one parent half? I've never seen this discussed before
However there are two points related to Goku that I think can be pondered:
Goku stated the hypothetical fusion of Goten and Trunks would be stronger than him.
Him at Fat Buu were one and the same. So he was. He just didn’t know how to access the power
I always wondered who was the strongest form of buu🤔
why is kid buu vs super buu even a debate
2nd Strongest Character in Dragon Ball Z (Not counting fusions)
Well technically super Buu is a fusion
@@XZAVIER-DAA-GOD I guess that’s true since all forms of buu are technically fusions except for kid buu.
@@truebaconforce3363 and evil Buu isn't one either
@Devil Mario Productions well ssJ3 and ultimate Gohan should be able to beat kid Buu
