Thank you boys, a very nice video, and of good quality, i live in Bowral and have riden the Wombeyan Caves road through the Bullio tunnel a few times with a work mate on our Trail bikes to Wombeyan Caves and return for a days outing. You both have very nice motor bikes and the Macquarie Pass is a great ride on a bike. I am about to send this link to a friend in the USA he will enjoy it as i did... Cheers 👍 🏍
Thanks for the awesome video. I’m not a bike rider but a convertible driver who loves driving around. Been wondering about Bullio tunnel but unsure if road is sealed. Unfortunately car doesn’t deal with gravel too well. Your video provided just the info I need 👍. Much appreciated
Glad to help! From Mittagong to Bullio Tunnel the road is sealed, however take it easy in your convertible - many large potholes (like most roads). There is also roadwork happening as you wind down to the tunnel.
Update... we just did this rd yesterday, from Mittagong to Taralga. Roads basically the same except once you reach Wombeyan caves camp (still all closed) area and continue, you will come across a sign saying " residents access only". We continued , the road is fine for bikes, still doing road works though. Being midweek we had to stop for workers trucks and grader. I spoke to driver who let us pass but did say this rd is technically closed. This explains why Google maps won't allow this route. Staying at Taralga pub.. Cheers Rod and Lorraine
Thanks for the detailed update. We noticed the scheduled Road Closed sign back near Taralga Rd a short while ago, so it's sort of for real. Enjoy your ride!
I believe you can bypass via Langs Rd FT? I’m planning on going through there later this week so would appreciate if anyone can confirm this? Cheers for the great videos
Excellent video and commentary, thanks
Commentary certainly adds value to the video. Nice video 👍
Nice ride and great video. I'm looking into getting an ADV so this is very inspiring

Some lovely roads there and the scenery is great. What date was this done? Just to get an idea against current road conditions.....Cheers.
