a simulator is supposed to “simulate” real life… which would be 1st person or pov.. i got off sim for over 3 years and when i came back i blasted my lap times out the park.. so can i say its a easy game? there are a tons of things that you can argue about sim being unrealistic and having weird physics. i love sim and i love bikes, but your arguments about mx bikes make you sound like a child.. it almost feels like you just want the views/attention and maybe get a video over 5k, at the end of the day why does it matter? they are video games and they will never be perfect i enjoy both of them for different reasons like most people.

I tried to hold onto Sim thinking it was better. Now having time on bikes i uninstalled sim and never looked back. Difference is sim is dead and outdated while bikes is still in progress

So basacly u telling me MX Bikes cant be a sim cus its not that hard... and a game that is called MX Simulator were the bikes float in the air, to get big line u just go from 1st gear to fucking 5th gear in 0.5 sec, caracter getting up on the bike looks like a fucking roblox game (probably even worse), so how can u say mx sim is more a sim than mx bikes? Both are lovely games and simulators, ofc neither are perfect. And btw i have nothing agains u or mx sim.

This is true. 5600hrs in Mxbikes. You can always tell how easy it is now, by riding last years Supercross tracks with the older betas etc bikes felt heavier I believe. On a 250 they were extremely technical and 3, 5, 3 triples were tough as well as the whoops. Yes, The game has gotten much easier

typical mx sim fan boy fashion, trying to grasp on to the fact the dead out dated mx simulator is a better game than mx bikes. mx sim was the set in standard simulator you only think its physics are good because that's all you know there is no other competing sims out there, coming from playing both games how can you say that one of them is more simulator than the other when there isn't even any other simulator moto games to base that off. They are both simulators with different physics, they can't just be the same game....
You also mention that you shouldn't be able to get around the track if it was a full blown sim. But your pro on sim so that translates over? I'd imagine any full blown sim mx game you'd be able to make it around the track if mx sim is "THE MX SIMULATOR GAME"

I love how the argument is "MX SIM IS WAY MORE REALISTIC".
Nobody wants to sacrifice visuals, smoothness, playerbase, sound model, etc to play a game that literally looks in game and UI like it was built in 1999. Who cares if it is slightly more realistic or the physics model is "more true to life" we don't play these games because we want it to be harder or more of a sim. We play bikes because we want to have fun. We want to rip, we want to play a... GAME. They both have there ups and downs but nobody really wants to play an outdated game.

it's impossible to make a perfect bike sim... people make sims for applicable inputs like a steering wheel or flight cockpit.
mx bike is the closest to real rider and bike physics you can get playing with a handheld input, it's also easy enough for newbies to grow the player count but can also be highly competitive.. and mx sim looks like roblox, the rider is stiff like morning wood
i've played every moto game since 2000 and mx bikes takes the cake for me.
The third person argument is really solid, it looks nothing like a sim or even a sim-cade. Camera effects are tricking everyone. I dont like watching mxb races, bikes reactions are not natural.

You can get around the track. Jump in a lobby though. And its designed to be a first person game and sims designed to be 3pv. Of course each will look better from the pov it was designes around lol. Sim is just as arcade. Im not saying either is a sim but to argue one is and the other isnt is moronic.

Nothing will ever be good enough for everybody. Play what you want, who cares. Just dont be this guy and bitch about everything and call his opinion the truth simply because its how he feels. If youre telling the truth you dont have to say that youre telling to truth 56 times. I have both games so what if I say, the truth is mx bikes looks 10x better than sim and is a living game. Who wants to spend 600 hours just to finally be able to get around a supercross track?
Both games have pros and cons and everybody makes videos about them like this with different opinions, who cares. Rip some pixelated dirtbikes with ya homies n chill.
none of these games are “simulators”. For simulation you’d need an actual replica bike and lots of pneumatics coupled with VR or a triple screen setup. But, IMO, MX Bikes is the more fun game to play and it looks better
I dont understand these videos lmao. Brings unnecessary drama to an already small community. We all love dirtbikes. If you want a realistic experience go ride irl. Both sim and bikes are the best we have rn. So much you can do on a controller. Also why use realistic when you are comparing everything to a 3rd person experience? Mx bikes is enjoyed because it feels smooth in first person. Sim because of 3rd. Personal preference.
I slowed down playing this cuz I got tired of how the bike feels like it has no weight.. the bike starts tripping out in certain scenarios and it’s annoying. It’s fun but after 300 hours it got a tad old.
Oem bikes that we have at the moment feel better than before. Had the same issue you are talking about.
Nah dude. It's definitely not an arcade sim, sorry. Just because it might be easier than MX sim doesn't make it arcade in any way. The average person still takes many, many hours to get around a basic track. It's a simulator by definition.
Honestly, it's the only motocross game with the best physics. They aren't top tier to match in real life physics but it's what you're going to get. Other then that all of these motocross games are arcade like. Another thing i love about Mx bikes is that it's active with players compared to any other motocross. Another thing, people who i introduced to mx sim and mx bikes say mx sim feels easy to play compared to mx bikes but still loves mx bikes more.
This was the first thing I noticed after the last bike patch. Easier

I got no hate for sim but the small details that Mx bikes has like bike sound, graphics and just overall eas of the game makes it more fun for me who just hops on every now and then. Totally can understand the physics aspect of it tho
Why not just pump up both games in stead of bashing one of them you got options to play nothing about either games are realistic

love mx bikes, been playing for almost 4 years now, but the community has definitely gotten worse and I've slowed down with playing it a lot. Definitely not an easy game for the average player in my opinion, but when you have 10,000+ hours in sim it's probably easy to hop on and shred some laps.

quite believing sim was realistc when i saw brake slide oppos, constantly locking the rear brake in whips, and all though nobody does it being able to remove the whole theory of inertia and conservation of momentum with stability settings, and the fact that it doesnt feel like ur controlling the rider at all feels like ur using a remote control bike
and if u looked into even the oem team says currently the bikes are too easy to ride, think u forget ppl are actually trying to develop and innovate for the game instead of just leaving it as a 2013 project and adding vanity changes even tho the games physics also has plenty of issues that u wont admit
u can def say bikes is a sim/arcade game, but to not also say sim fails at simulating a dirtbike is wrong. There is not a single game out that has the physics of a dirbike down packed

it definitely isnt a full blown sim i would agree i have 1500 hours in the game and its fun to just hop on and spin laps but the game brings a yearn for more realism when you try to compete ive been wanting to switch to a real sim but the first person in sim ATM discourages that for me and it not having full rider control being rider lean left and right. Im really excited to see sims new camera and maybe thatll do it for me to switch. the paying for tracks to compete and the weird physics having been bothering me for awhile. the last patch of oem bike for MX Bikes has really pushed me over the edge as i felt i had reach a level that put me above others skill wise a reward for playing as much as i did. the game suddenly got easier and now player with less than 100 hours are now just as fast if not faster than me now and not that i got slower but everyone j getting into is now just faster.
I don't think simulation a dirt bike with a controller is even possible, but the feeling i get from playing mx bikes reminds me of actually riding. So i love it. If low speed physics is ever improved, i think that'd be awesome though.

You raced in real life so you understand pacing yourself how much juice to give when throttling eyeballing jumps etc. you also mastered sim which we all know bikes got hella inspiration from so I’m not tryna go against you but taking all that stuff into consideration wouldn’t you kind of expect bikes to be a easier play for you? I mean bro as someone who never got to ride real tracks an learn real technique iv never seen a better game to the eye (keep that in mind Spence not feel just to the eye) as far as like body movements bike tracking the way the bike and rider work together as far as bikes goes iv never seen another video game replicate that like bikes does. I been watching your vids for so long I can’t even remember when I started I think I was still in hs lol so you having tons of hours in all the best moto games on top of hours irl I kinda think you might be over judging bikes and not realizing how much overall general knowledge of the sport you already have, you have to keep that in mind when playing. To someone who knows little to nothing about moto bikes definitely does a decent job at showing what it’s like(a little bit because we are talking about the most gnarly sport in the world not sure if it could truly be simulated in our lifetime). Also Spence if you really wanna make bikes hard af turn off the rider lean aid completely then you will see how hard this game can be.
