How is this even a situation? When did anyone think “I need a way to counter Geonosians, I wonder if Jawas can do it?”
I actually had this exact situation myself. I was playing around with my geos in gw and faced a full jawa team only to discover this funny situation. I immidiately checked jawa kits to see what was the cause. So you see sometimes you don't need to do all thinking they just come to you :)

9:05 was great.
Since Engineer can grant 45% TM to all other Jawas, it makes sense for him to be fast enough to get them out of the gate before the Geos (he gains +50 from unique for full Jawa squad). Jawa Scavenger gains stealth for 3 turns on a crit so he needs 45% crit chance to match the 25% from Crit Chance Up granted by JE and 30% from Nebit lead to get to 100%. This will help keep him alive and avoid targeting from the Geos. The only time he can loose this stealth is from Spy's unique Hive Tactics which removes stealth from an enemy when they are exposed (applied by his second special Illicit Intel which exposes all enemies (unavoidable but resistable)). Therefore, JS needs as high tenacity as possible to resist this expose and remain in stealth.
To sum up:
1. JE fast enough to outspeed Geos to boost the other Jawas.
2. JS modded for 45% Crit chance to get to 100% to guarantee stealth.
3. JS modded for as high tenacity as possible to resist Spy's expose and remain in stealth.
4. Mod everyone else for survivability.
5. Pray to RNG gods.
I can't test this myself but this is my theory-craft.
Yes JE go fast and speed up other jawas so Nebit can get taunt going.
@@chizinks Nebit's not the important one as Sun Fac will just dispel the taunt on the first Geo attack; you want JS under stealth to protect him.

Maybe mod them all for a lot of defense with the crit avoidance arrow? That might help make it more consistent

I hope they don't tweak anything here. Gives the Jawas some viability and it's super fun. This may feel like a rework for the jawas and make those people happy until it makes sense to rework them. It would be a smart move for CG to leave this be. Thanks for the fun vid guys!
You can't just rework a team to make them relevant just to have them be defeated by a team that doesn't even need to attack
Geos are getting reworks so I highly doubt this will work after the reworks are finished

Does it makes sense to jack up Chief Nebit’s speed (and protection/health) so you can activate his taunt sooner, to help protect Scavenger?

Hey MG i cant decide if i should go for jawas or not as a counter for Geo’s. Do you know what gear /relic tier is minimum for jawas to have to take on relic 5 Geos.
Please reply if you know or anyone see this and have a link to what tier jawas vs Geos for 100% success rate.
I had 3 jawas at gear 11 and 2 at gear 9 and this worked against a gear 12 geo team!

who would have thought that jawas could make a diference after so many years being a bench team with no use at all. Congrats to who discoverd this strategy, this could be a life changer strat on GA. What about just modding engineer for speed and the rest for health and protection. feed TM to the team, have nebit to use taunt, datcha ability block, and have a chance to stealth scavanger, maybe that could be more consistent.
So by next tomorrow Geos will either auto target Scavenger first or be immune to thermal detonators.

16 points isn’t that much better than 15 so honestly not that big of a deal in tw at least for this counter. Everyone with good Jawas from back in the day might actually have a use! Until cg switches the auto target to engineer.

It figures that the one Jawa I guessed should be taken out of the lineup (jawa scavenger) if using Jedi Eeth Koth vs. Droids would be the one whose thermal detonators are much higher in damage than I imagined. How can the geos get 40 thermals each on them when theres only a 50% chance for them to land and theres no way they've actually done 40 attacks in one match. To me it looks like they get 6 per attack as it's regestring 6 attacks in one go then applying the thermals to all of them rather than one each.

Theres a bug with Scavengers unique, for every multi attack the egos gain 1-6 detonators instead of only 1

This is bugged. The Thermals stack WAAAAAY to fast. Those individual Geo’s aren’t landing 40-80 hits???!! There is some mechanic behind the scenes that’s causing those thermals to stack faster than they should. If it stacks 50% of the time how can that possibly get up to 40 stacks??! That would mean almost 80 hits landed....per Geo? I know they assist a lot but that didn’t happen. It looks like it’s is placing a thermal on anyone that contributes to the counter times the number of Geos that attacked. That Geo only landed one hit but everyone got 6 thermals stacked. This WILL be fixed guaranteed.
Murph Dog the whole team gets a detonator per attack so each attack has a 50% to give the whole team a thermal it makes sense... if you mass assist a Jawa with the another team it’s the same thing geos just mass assist all the time so the detonators really stack up
Pretty sure it's stacking up to 6 times per enemy. I think it's registering the attacks of the group as a whole instead of individually and then applying TD for each of them
Murph Dog it’s cause somewhere in the line of text it registers hive mind and counts all the geos. 6 geos x 6 attacks, 36 TD for each individual character. That’s my guess as to what’s happening
I can't see how this will remain untouched, its clearly putting 5x the amount of thermals on that it should. If you read Scavengers unique, each enemy that damages a Jawa should get 1. Not everyone get 5 or 6 every time.
I wonder if a Zam lead BH team would achieve the same result.
With zam, greedo, and dengar I only get 6 at most before they start blowing up. Still a great team tho.
