Olympus XA2 Review and Overview. In this video I head out with a friend to Lincoln on a cloudy spring day to bring you a review of the Olympus XA2 point and shoot 35mm camera. My impressions, opinions and all you need to know about this compact point and shoot 35mm camera. The resulting images may look a little grainy as the film was expired but I am still pleased with the results. I particularly like the shot with the two ladies outside the shop with the rainbow jumpers.

Looks like it was underexposing, my XA3 does the same. Dodgy meter?

Antoine Vidal Beware of where you buy them from though. Shutter button is known to be finicky from being old. Also issues with the light meter which causes overexposed and underexposed images

Nice review Matt of an iconic Olympus gem. I own an XA and the XA4 and they are both fantastic. Not heard of your sponsor before are they any good?

They do really good scans, 5mb tiff files. Worth noting that there price has since increased to £5 per roll but you can check out their website for more information, link in the description :) thank you for your kind comment

BGalami Channel lmao. You have to either develop the film yourself, or send it to a lab to get the film developed. Then u can scan the images on a scanner and put it on mobile

I have a film camera I really want to use but the battery doesn’t work anymore and is stuck in the camera as I caint Open the compartment at the bottom of the camera . How do I fix this ???

    • @ir0nm0nk3y

Ali sha Usually this is due to corrosion of the batteries. The batteries leak acid and get inside the camera which can damage internal parts. You can try to wear gloves and pry them out...then you want to take some white vinigar and Q tips and clean the metal parts that the batteries touch. With any luck your camera should be working again.
