Obviously all very nice, but nearly all new builds have very small floor space, it’s possible to find certainly old condos almost double in size for nearly half the price!
Well said you are right but it wasn’t to size of room I loved it was the ultra luxury amenities and steps to beach and night market next door that is well worth the extra $180- 300 I would saved elsewhere. Thanks for the comment 💕
@@goodvibetravel Yes, it's space and thrift vs. amenities, convenience, and luxurious feeling surroundings. That "formula" can be found in any city in every country. Ultimately, it's a personal choice for each individual's value judgment. The same formula can be applied to choice of friends, lovers, meals, etc., etc., etc.
It's what makes for an interesting experience in everyone's life.

I am renting 67 square meters, in convenient area. Not cheap, 25K - but I won’t suffer from claustrophobia. Ultimately, you are doing the audience a great service by showing the extreme (small) end of the condo market. Hope to watch more of your videos. The music…maybe you might reconsider😢

Those old buildings don't have the views from 59 floors up in the sky. Apples to oranges. This is the tallest building in the region. The views really are breathtaking. That's why they cost more per sq m.

Appreciate the video James, but most of your viewers have no interest in purchasing or the purchase price. 99% of expats are moving there to rent, not just because it makes sense, but because of the rules regarding expats "owning" real estate in Thailand. You should also add some context in the beginning of the video as well as some at the end at the very minimum. Good luck on your journey.

I know you just started your channel, so please don't take this as negative. This is 100% positive feedback so that you get better. You seem like a really good human and I want to not only see you succeed, but your channel succeed. Your videos need to have a format and "purpose". Each video needs to have a singular focus. I would suggest watching a lot of other expat Thailand UA-cam creators who make videos and just use their videos to get better. We all start somewhere brother. Cheers.

I don't mind small spaces at all. I am a well organized person and minimalist. However, I prefer to rent. Owning a condo restricts my freedom to move around.

It's extremely small, too small. The building is good, the area is good, but spending a few months in this unit is similar to being in a dungeon... a luxury prison .Besides, 140K is an unrealistic price for Jomtien, where there are dozens of condos equal to Copacabana. Where a 35 meter condo (which is still very small) for 50K to 100K.
In Cozy Beach View condominium, which is a gem in Pratanmack, for a fully furnished and brand new 40 meter condominium they ask 100K.

Great video. I am looking to coming to Thailand especially Pattaya to to if I like it. Tourist Visa only allows me to stay one month . And hotels are very expensive. Would the Copa rent me the 35 meter room for a month.

29sqm 140k USD in Pattaya is totally overpriced. The rent is still very high, but not totally from dreamland.

This condo project is dreamy I lived in a studio in San Francisco for $2000 a month this is 10x better right on the beach. And freelancers come to your condo for $33. In my opinion only that’s dreamland to me. Thank for the comment

I am a long time resident of Thailand and one thing to be careful of is condo size. I have stayed in hotel rooms bigger than 29 sq meters. It is ok for a 2 or 3 days but to call 29 sq meters a condo is, in my opinion, laughable.

The short term rental rate is $35 a night long term 6-12 months is $20 to $25 a night

The difference is short rental vs long term rental monthly vs annually the price I quoted was for annual contract of one year

Agreed when your use to the US rooms small however I spend most my time out vacationing. My condo in SF was same size but cost $900k this one only $150k plus comes with ocean and amazing culture people and anything else you want for a fraction
