I like this exercise and plan to incorporate it into our training as we just started to play 3-4-3 (actually, 3-4-1-2). I'm curious why the pitch is so narrow, and the outside midfielders are tucked in so much. If I did a drill in a space this small, with my team's pace and intensity in defending, it'd be nothing but turnover after turnover.
what dimensions for the area please?
I'd play this on a 40x30 the pitch they're using seems a lot smaller then again the board suggests the edge of the box to the halfway line. It will certainly work on all of those dimensions.

Possession of the football is important but it’s now become the most important factor in the game. Call me old fashioned but possession has to have a means to an end and that’s scoring goals. I see too many young players now in supposed creative positions taking the easy ball option rather than taking risks to get rewards. Players don’t dribble the space anymore, midfielders spend most the game passing sideways and backwards. The game has become sterile and boring to watch.
