Awesome job Ian. Sorry for getting us lost 😂. Two positives came out of it - that awesome field and testing the fuel range. 😂 I watched the crash video and then listened to you commentary later in the footage - I think you might be right, your front pressure might have been too high.
Wish I actually did something about tyre pressure on the trip. I did a local ride and dropped it down, immediately felt better. Last high country trip I ran high pressures without issue. Different tyres respond differently to pressure changes I guess
Living in Albury i have these tracks and the high country at my door step consider myself very lucky, great video guy a new follower. Love to join you for a ride one day.
I really misjudged that corner, sharper than I thought and then got caught up in the loose gravel. Weather was great until Yea, rained rest of the trip home. Is was refreshing after all the dust.
Great video Ian, love the start with the cocky,s . I think i would of ended up off that corner if it wasn't for abs. Lucky you didn't land on that dead roo it didnt smell too good. It was a great ride, and there was nothing wrong with getting lost.
Taking a wrong turn wasn't so bad, interested in checking out that area now. Crash could've been much worse, I landed about a metre away from a dead roo! Day 3 crash was the worse, not on camera though.
@@OzADVRider give it a try mine was using heaps getting around 270 from a tank after I cut the clutch switch ,, reconnected the switch but still used heaps so did the reset and now back to normal ,I'm not sure what I did but the reset fixed it
Beautiful countryside, you certainly had the pick of the weather over that long weekend
Got fairly lucky with the weather. Rained on day 3 from Yea to home. Prefer rain on day 3 then 1.
Yep. That WAS going to be my next front tyre. Glad you "tested it" out before me... Beautiful part of the world! Bring on episode 3 mate 🙂
Turned right off it now, didn't help that it was 2nd hand. Nice new desert HT is on the way.
Went paat the campsite we stayed at, really nice area.

Yeah, still a great day out.
Would of been a disgusting crash if I slid into the roo. I landed really well, could of been bad with that ditch.
What a nice ride, great video again Ian
Great part of the country to ride!
That crash could have been so much worse, getting lost or taking a wrong turn is always part of the fun 😎👍

Coke instead of oil? Nice!! 🤣
I realised watching it back that it looks like I'm pouring coke into it.
