The anime ended at ch35, but obviously i recomend u read from ch1 since the anime did abit of minor chapter shuffling and left out some details. I love this scene a lot, not just because it was shown that Misaki's true self for a brief moment and get addressed, but it's also because it's DIFFERENT from the *MANGA.* In the manga, after a lot of tries, Misaki somewhat gave up on this role as a "little sister" and the manager let her take a day off on the event day (which makes Honoka upset too, but she understood Misaki's struggle), in the end, the chapter ended with Misaki coming to the cafe in disguise as a guest to observe how it's done because she still wanted to learn in case this comes up again. Not a satisfactory ending but it's a decent one. However, the anime CHANGES it! And I *LOVE* it! The change is very welcomed and still within characters, even emphasizing Misaki's cute points! Mind you, this is not cutting the scene or what-not, they directly changed how it played out and they played it perfectly. This is very rare. I've seen another shoujo manga's anime adaptation that changed the course from the manga for one topic and that is SA (Special A) but the scene turned waaayy worse than the manga which was already decent (if you watched SA, it's the one where Number 5-i forgot his name- asked Hikari out for the sake of being his fake gf to make sure his mother won't arrange a marriage for him. It played out emotionally in the manga but became really annoying in the anime because the other girl (number 6?) got pissed that he asked Hikari and thought that he wanted to tarnish Hikari or smth, it became really bad that the fans hated number 6, even though IT NEVER PLAYED LIKE THAT IN THE MANGA, the anime scriptwriters is responsible for ruining that character.)
