Hand Lettering 101: Intro to Typeface Classification

Typeface is a BIG topic! The world of fonts, letters and type is a large and also ancient subject. But having even a beginner's understanding can really help you to develop your hand lettering skills. So in this short video I'll break down the subject a little bit and try to explain the broad typeface classifications: serif, sans serif, script and decorative/ display. I hope you'll find this information helpful as you take on new lettering projects and especially as you attempt to mix and match fonts.

G'morning Shayda, I just wanted to sent a little note to thank you for all the effort and love you put into all the work and time it takes to keep up your youtube channel and your blog!
