Guitar sounds killer. Real nice tutorial on this and the speed bump pickup. Wow, Is your pickup winder a repurposed lathe? Never seen one like that before.

Yes it is. I'm thinking about doing a video. When I started making pickups you couldn't buy winders like you can now. I'm just about the tools I use in the shop.

I find guys that diy like you, Chris-Highland guitars, Derek-BigD guitars, Dan Erlewine and a bunch of others, bring a creativity to the art of guitar building/repair that never ceases to amaze. Thx for all the postings.
