British Rail 1987 - Locos at March TMD

On an evening in June 1987,withdrawn class 45s and 20s stored at March TMD and also 31s,47s and a 37 on shed.

45137 was last to leave in late March 1994. Luckily 45118 wasn't destined to meet the same end. She looks sparkly on that recent tour.

Yes March is located in the county of Cambridgeshire on the eastern side of England. At one time Whitemoor marshalling yard was the largest yard in the world alongside an identical one in Hamm Germany.
