Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have working on sewing a turban from knit fabrics for several weeks and have not been satisfied with the results. This is perfect for my bagful if 12 t0 15 knitted and crocheted hats -- cotton in the summer and wool blend in the winter to my local branch of th American Cancer Society. I am a breast cancer suvivor and my sister,Jil, passed away in Sept 2010 of breast cancer. We had no family of any cancer; please get an annual mammogram!

There are some kind of 'jewel-buttons' in crafts stores now.....that is another option!
