A cornucopia of catchy melodies and hypnotic music from the king of minimalist piano. Jeroen van Veen's new album: Piano Music Vol. 2 was just released for physical and online purchase. Make sure you give it a listen!

The interesting ability that minimalistic composers have on catching us in their music.

Некоторые вещи воспринимаются очень тяжело- долгое, нудное повторение одних и тех же алгоритмов, большая часть композиций очаровывает.
    Большое спасибо Brilliant Classics!

Uma harmonia bem calculada. Agradável de ouvir a passagem lenta dos sons. Bom para aquela leitura realizada bem devagar.

The prelude in E major hits me with the childish like expression of the first 2 minutes, never letting up its secrets until 31:00, where it starts to tell it’s story. And it’ll make you tear up every time.

No. 12 is amazing: could be the first minimal requiem

1:29:19 this is the most post-classic rendition of a Bonzai Records tune I have ever heard.

Wow, great stuff here, didn't know the composer. At times it reminds me of Dekalog's soundtrack by Zbigniew Preisner!

This is my unknown work and composer
    There is many unknown composers
I’ll never listen to them all
    This splendor is undisputed

Many preludes clearly pay hommage to Glass' piano worke (e.g. no. 2, 10, 11, 24, 25) ... No. 5 and 13 are reminiscent of Steve Reich's music

Wonderful. That was unexpected and definitely unknown. Thank you. (Someways it reminds me of Virgil Thompson's simplicity or even Satie.)

Yuck. God this stuff is so asinine. Like listening to some mediocre lounge pianist droning on in absurdity. I can see a man and women on a date watching this and saying to each other "jesus..i don't know what this crap is but it makes me want to get the hell out of here, how about you? I thought you'd never ask."
