Courtney Love Gets Emotional at New York premiere of KURT COBAIN: MONTAGE OF HECK

Following Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck's New York premiere at TFF 2015, Rolling Stone reporter Neil Strauss sat down with director Brett Morgen and the rocker’s widow, Courtney Love for a candid Q&A session.
In this emotional clip, Courtney Love talks about her "soulmate" and the mixed emotions she felt when watching the film. The New York premiere marked her fourth time seeing Montage of Heck, and her reaction to it was much different than the other occasions. “I experienced some shame this time,” she openly told Strauss and the audience. “There was shame and guilt over what I could have done.” She reveals that she watched the film for the first time with her daughter Frances and Brett and was just so incredibly thankful. As she continues to describe her first experience she fights back tears to say, “I got to spend more time with Kurt.”
