Yes in the "options.4.cod23.cst" config file, this is the lowest possible setting that won't pixelate your smoke: Texture filtering quality level TextureFilter:0.0 = "TEXTURE_FILTER_LINEAR”

ive tried countless custom os and optimization guides, none of them helped with fps.. if anything it made windows more unstable. maybe your results will differ but for me stock windows 10 performs basically the same as those stripped down/optimized custom os.

wrong, dlss and fsr upscaling also increase input latency drasticly. Just saw the numbers yesterday where dlss was around 20ms and fsr adds 12ms on top of that@@killerr15
Only the frame generation feature does this, if you are GPU bound and use FSR or DLSS Upscaling (not the framegen) and get higher FPS, you'll see lower latency than off

Hey Panj! I'm following ur guides for quite some time now & almost religiously apply & test them, & this is a great vid as always. Tho, the 1st ever I'm strongly disagree with 1 cst setting, that is the TEXTURE FILTER NEAREST. I'm playing on a low-end pc with R5-5600+GTX1650 that is highly optimised toward gaming only & the "NEAREST" setting makes everything look like it's COD inside Minecraft. Not kidding, large box-like pixels on textures & it doesn't have performance difference from TEXTURE FILTER LINEAR. It gives the exact same performance, but the visual on textures r very decent. I recommend u try it out, on a pc config that is close to mine. Let me know what u think & keep up the great work.
Thank you I should have noted that setting is mainly for those on lower end systems or if you want absolute lowest latency and highest FPS and happy to give up visual details

Things i did: Verified game files integrity (steam) and was missing 40 or so for some reason Clean installed new AMD driver (latest) with DDU Disabled Readon Anti-lag (if you have a good system you wont need this anyway) Reverted my PBO settings in bios to automatic Switched ram profile to XMP 2
1:36 A criticism that I hope will be constructive: try putting this kind of clip at the end if you want us to do it at the end. It makes no sense to put things you have to do last at the beginning of the video.
If you're using a UPS, make sure it's 850 Watts or higher. I used to have one that was sub 500 Watts and when I upgraded my CPU and GPU, I'd crash during gun fights not realizing that the wattage exceeded what the UPS could handle. If you're not using a UPS, then you have another issue.

When I put on AMD FSR 3.0, and put on AMD frame generation I went from 90-100 fps ingame to around 170-180
They are not real fps, you see 170-180 fps but it feel like 70 fps
