He speaks German but you can learn how to wearing the great kilt by flowing the steps he did, he counted 5 steps from the side he will use it to wrap it over his body to make the front shape of kilt or we can call it a kilt's lock and then he start to folding the kilt and make a gentle folds and then he lift the other side to make the other fold and then he counted 7 steps and this is steps is the length of kilt from waist to over knee and then he used a belt to secure the kilt from falling by putting the belt underneath the kilt and after that he lay and folding the left side on his body and then the other side and after that he folded the both sides by using the belt to make the lock for kilt and after that he stands and then he took the falling parts and wrap them around his waist and for other falling part you can wear it as cloak when the cold is cold or you can tight it over your shoulder by simple knot or by using a pin, That's all. Greetings ^_^

Two corrections from a Scotsman. 1) The right side is always folded over first and then the left side is folded over on top of it, and 2) the shoulder drape is done with the lower part pulled up the front side onto the left shoulder and then the top drape pulled up from the back, over the top of the shoulder on top of the front one.

It's a beautiful piece a kit, but I would look like a lunatic wearing it around where I live. I still treasure it. When it comes to not freezing to death, wool is king. Fuck cotton. Depending on your height the width should be between 54”-60” normally. That range seems to work for 5’5” - 6’5” people.
