- I cannot tell how much time we are saving now feeding our colonies with a sugar water pump. Last year we would mix 5 gal buckets which we would then pour into a watering pale (whilst spilling a portion of it on the ground) to pour into each feeder frame. HAHA! The things we do to get things done sometimes makes me giggle. But, ya gotta do whatcha gotta do! So I hope this helps save you as much time feeding your spring bee hives as it does us! Drill a hole in the lid of the bucket, leave the pump through the lid and you won't have to keep track of the lid or drown so many bees. Also could save you from losing all your water if you accidentally drop the bucket or kick it over for some reason
Smoker pops in and out of the left side of the screen at time stamp 2: 32 to 2:33 seconds. I would love to try the hive alive package!!!
Hi neighbor, Brenda here from wisconsin again. Isn't it nice to see bees fly FINALLY! I use hive alive and also make thin syrup for my bees. We are the same :) Happy beekeeping
It's right to the left as she is carrying the 5 gallon bucket in the swarm of bees its only in the pic for a second or two.
