I have super thick hair
It takes a little more concentration-but try laying down on your bed. I noticed that helps support my arms. But unless you have someone willing to hold a mirror over you- it can be harder than just holding your arms up lol

Thank you, I've been looking for a tutorial for this hairstyle. Lot's of people have been wearing it and it looks fabulous! It looks pretty easy to do, since it is only 3 minutes long and I can already braid my hair. It might seem a bit hard for me since I don't really do these kinds of braids, but I'll try my best!!XD

I have never ever been able to make this style work for me, they have always ended up flat against my head with no definition. This was SO EASY and it worked for me. After years of trying I can finally wear this style.

By far the easiest tutorial to date. This is the first time I’ve actually ended up accomplishing the top braid without it looking terrible or my arms going into muscle failure before I get it. I just kept saying “swing that around and grab it with your pinchers”. 😂 it worked. Saving this video!

Its called a cornrow, alot of people call them dutch braids but they are cornrows. Another type of braid😄
Amali Johnston ik this is late but cornrows are those types of braids going on your head in ROWS, as in multiple. This braid is a Dutch braid because the middle is going over (reversed) so it sits on top and not in like a French braid.

Yeah that's a whole lot of fun.... Not. But it does work. I usually dampen the hair slightly to get some sort of control though.

This is the best angle, and the easiest way I've seen this done. Think I might be able to do it now lol
Ive re-watched this video approximately 27 times and i finally got the hang of it and used this plus a ponytail and it rocked! But more importantly, the second time i did this, I got the hang of it and fully braided ALL of my hair, and i have super thick 2ft long hair....this video is the first to successfully show me how to fully braid my hair like this!

You should be able to go to the video settings and slow it down or speed it up. :)
It might only be on desktop, though!
On youtube on the computers atleast u can slow down the speed of the video. It will appear like .75x speed or something like that.

Oh , m hair is quite thick and the hair just falls everywhere it's so hard for me lol
Try and just take smaller sections that might help, its so tricky getting used to it put once you figure out how to position everything you'll be fine!
Go to settings and slow it down on the speed option
