Hi Mike from Germany. I ride a Meteor and I prefer the Hunter. The valve check is critical. My valves were tight on the 1st service which is really bad. Heard others say the same. If I ever buy another new Enfield I will check them myself as soon as it's home and cold. The USB is standard on all the new Enfield models. Brilliant simple idea. Hunter is excellent for anyone who seldom rides above 65mph, whether you are a newbie or a downsizing pensioner and in between. You will both love it, enjoy.
That USB is such a small thing but it is so useful. and I guess I should get the valves checked out at some point than. Did you notice a difference after valve adjustment?
@@pitbikemike hi Mike, thanks for the prompt reply from across the pond. Funny you should ask that, but I most certainly did. As I rode the bike home, I had the feeling the ECU had been reset (post 300ml) but now you mention it my valves could have been leaking a fraction. My advice, do them straight away. I am a life long mechanic but loads of videos on UA-cam.
Bought mine today, exact same color as yours. Love the styling on this bike, I will be using it for commuting to work mostly and it's the perfect bike for that. Looking forward to see more videos man! Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
Nice bike bro, my Himalayan transmission doesn't like to find neutral sometimes but it doesn't bother me. I'll be watching out for your thoughts about the bike because now I want one....🙂
@pitbikemike I did not. Oil at 300. I asked the dealer I bought it at and another in the next largest city from me. Both said do it if it sounds off and wait until 3000 miles. I'm going to change the oil at 1200 again soon bc it is dark. They probably said that to lower ownership cost, having it dealer serviced too though.
@@scoothomemy dealer similarly said valve checks are not needed at 300 miles except the manual specifically calls for it. And plenty of folks have reported valves too tight at 300 miles lol . I’ll probably do it myself
Bro I know this has nothing to do with the video and thank you for another video by the way but can you do me a huge favor and tell me the torque specs for our header bolts on our klx230

Congratulations and get ready for some intense scrutiny online cos these bikes are super popular and have a massive following! Love from India
I can definitely see why they are so popular. So far it is super solid.

Niceeee, tbh I think this color combo is the best on this bike.. the styling and color give the bike so much character. Hope you enjoy it!
I got mine back in May. It’s a great little bike.
Congratulations! 🎉 I think it’s an excellent choice. Those seem very nice and I’m interested in seeing how you two like it in the future
100 miles in the first day, we both really like this bike so far.. it has great character

The USB socket is now a common feature in new motorycles in India. The 125cc bike that i have here also has one as a standard feature.😁
Must be nice lol I wish more new bikes here in the usa came with that..... I feel like we missing out.
Fun bike. 1100 miles on mine so far.
