Michael - Focus on the bottom 1.3 of the water column, Stop and go along with twitching seems to do the trick for the trevallys. I would also focus on shallower water like around the island to the northwest. That's where I finally managed to get one the first time around.
Shame, and annoying, but it appears to be rods that are in holders, that you have set back to reel another rod. Hasn't happened to me at all while reeling in a rod... Sam

Try near surface if barometric pressure is up. If its mid pressure try mid water. If that don't help try night steep peaks
