What an epic edit! Huge congrats to the editor and of course Harry for his performance and pro licenses. Best of luck with whatever challenge you're tackling next!
Just come across this channel and feel stupidly inspired. I want to become a pro triathlete with a passion and enjoy your content. Thanks for fuelling the fire guys!
Awesome video guys and congratulations to Harry, what an achievement in such tough conditions. Also thanks for the few seconds of footage of me walking into T1 in the morning with Harry. Pleasure to meet and chat to you both, all the best for the future.
Ed Hodges thanks so much Ed, and congrats to yourself for completing it, we hope you’ve been recovering well since! Hahaha glad you liked your little feature, was so cool to meet you and hear you like the vids... Also you were our first so we thought it was only fair you made the video 🙂 Hope you stick with it and maybe see you at another event next year!
Harry, amazing! You really deserved this and you made it look so easy! Chris & the rest of the team, it’s amazing the support you show Harry week in, week out. Great footage and so beautifully put together and edited! So looking forward to following the rest of your journey. Congrats again guys, I hope you’re incredibly proud!
This is Amazing Harry! The efforts that you had put in are really commendable. I had put this video as one my favorite and watch it whenever I have to motivate myself before my 21K Targeted Race. I believe this was not possible without your buddy Chris! Finally I just want to say "Come On Harry" "Keep Pushing"
Legend! Congratulations on becoming a pro! I only had a few mins to say hello as you left the race briefing to wish you luck. Delighted you've got your pro license, the channel is great and I can't wait for your next videos.
Hi Mate, Thanks so much for stopping us and saying hello- means a lot to bump into people who are enjoying the channel. Thanks so much for the suppprt and hopefully see you at another race soon 🙂
Guys! You are both amazing - Harry for his outstanding performances and the drive to be better and better... and Chris for the spectacular editing and filming to show Harry as an ambitious triathlete. I've encountered your channel recently and already watched all your videos. Love your work and waiting for more content of yours. Good luck and greetings from Poland :D
Congratulations Harry it was great been part of journey. So well documented by Chris. Looking forward to future instalments. A great inspiration. Well done to you both. I hope to catch up you both at an event in the future.
Sean Merritt thanks so much Sean, means a lot 🙂 Yesssss, defo! We were lucky enough to meet a few people at Weymouth but obviously because the weather was so awful it was cut short! Hopefully we’ll continue making videos you enjoy so you can follow the next steps of the journey 🙂
Subscribed...... just want to say well done 👍 I was there that day it was my 1st 70.3. I did it in 6:50. In many ways I’m glad it was hard and the conditions were tough, it’s made me more determined to carry on . I can’t wait to see more videos of your journey now you are a pro athlete. 👊💥👊💥
Thanks so much Pezza, the conditions out there were pretty savage so for your first ironman thats a crazy milestone. Glad to hear you are invested in our journey - perhaps we'll cross paths at a future event :)
This was fantastic, very well edited (much better than my videos!), really suspenseful and also a fantastic achievement on becoming a pro - I know this was 3 years ago, but it had me on the edge of my seat! I've subscribed!
Awsome channel, quality! Still dont know who Harry is or where he comes from other than grater brittain but gives me chills :) Nice camera and editing and quality all around :)
Hi Heikki Sanelma sorry I’ve have just seen this, thanks so much for the comment, I’m glad you liked it. It does mean a lot to hear comments like this :)
Very much. I got back in to cycling about 2 years ago and now want to do something more , Triathlons and Ironman have been something I’ve always enjoyed watching growing up but I’m 40 later this year and after the recent passing of my mother , has made me realise life is to short , I’m thinking I may aim for one by time I’m 45.
@@carldonovan4084 Really sorry to hear about your mother Carl thats really tough. Amazing attitude though! life is too short for sure- get out there and get after it buddy 👌🏻 If you ever need a hand or want any advice with anything then let know- be happy to help 👍
No doubts that Harry has the talented and ready to go further!!! He needs to work on loosing excessive body/muscle unnecessary mass. Stretching and some yoga work outs will help him to have a more relax stand during the running. Teach his body how to relax and use that energy for a more natural flow!!! Go Harry go!!!!
Hi fernando. Thanks for the comment. After watching video footage of myself running it has become apparent that my technique definitely needs work like you have mentioned. This is something I’m working on towards the 2019 season 🙂
So I’m wondering what it takes from a performance point of view to achieve a time within 8% of the winning pro. How many hours a week were you training? Roughly what is your height / weight, FTP, best half marathon time & best swim 1k. If you don’t mind me asking... curious to see how far off I am.
Sorry for such a rubbish reply Will. So I can train anywhere from 20-30hrs a week depending on what period I’m in during the season. My FTP earlier this year was 336 and I weighed 72kg and am a heigh if just over 6ft. Hope this helps? Again sorry for the really slow reply
No that’s great thanks. My FTP was similar on a road bike set up but at least 10-15% lower on the TT bike (never did an FTP test in the TT) . 6’2 and toed the line at IM Barcelona at around 82kg. Confirms my thought that weights probably somewhere to focus on but I honestly look quite ill at anything much under 80. Cheers again & good luck
If I’m totally honest not a lot. Basically you start racing with the pros and pay for a pro license that gives you entry to the Ironman races. As far as funding is concerned you have to prove yourself obviously before anyone takes any notice. That’s why I have to train during the day and work during the evening to fund myself
Thanks Harry and Chris really appreciate your videos they have really helped to motivate me to get my butt in gear. I finished my first triathlon and had a great time, a lot of it due to you guys and your videos. I've posted some videos and will be posting a video on my first triathlon and how it went. If you get the chance please check me out. Id appreciate any comments, likes, or ideas on how I can better my training and videos.
What an epic edit! Huge congrats to the editor and of course Harry for his performance and pro licenses. Best of luck with whatever challenge you're tackling next!
Thanks so much Dan this means a lot, we are already excited for next years season but have a lot of work to do between now and then :)

good water conditions = shortened swim... horrific conditions on bike = some rain.... IM has become so soft these days...
Haha I know right😂
What does officially being a pro triathlete mean? you can start getting funding?
