Sure, first I try to add flat colors on my sketch. No light and no shadow. Only flat colors (local colors). I choose colors that complete eschother, based on color wheel (if you search for "color wheel matches"). Or colors that just looks good together based on feeling and experience. :) The more you do it the better you can choose. After all this I add light and shadows on top and mix them with a smudge brush. I'll try to explain it more visually in the next that video! That's a good question you asked and worth making a video about it! 🙂
